Sewell Jaguar and Land Rover North Austin is the most DISHONEST and SCANDALOUS dealership someone could go to. I dropped off my Land Rover to be looked at for a check engine light(engine was misfiring). They(service tech named ROBIN) claimed to repair damages costing approximately $6,000, however they stated we need to do approximately $3,000 more repair work to get the car in working condition (no more engine misfires, since they apparently didn't fix that to begin with). I was dumbstruck. So after "repairing" $6,000 worth of "damage" I was still on the hook for $3,000. I reluctantly agreed to do the repairs since they stated this would be the final fix and no other repairs would be necessary. After all they would be the ones to know right, they have "master technicians". Now $9,000 into the repair they call me back and tell me an additional $14,000 would be required to, wait for it, see if additional work needs to be done. I then tell them I would have never approved the repair if they hadn't specifically told me this would fix the car and no more repairs would be required. The service manager named MATT HUMPHREY then told me they don't guarantee any repairs a week after ROBIN guaranteed me that they would. They never sent me anything to sign, just did the work and told me I was lying afterwards. I am reporting to BBB, thinking about a lawyer, and I will keep you posted. Be aware, this is the worst place to buy or service a car.

Amazing service from Thanos and the team!
Amazing service from Thanos and the team! Thanos was incredibly responsive to my many questions, provided all the necessary documentation without being requested, and could answer all my Range Rover specific questions without having to consult a manual. When I picked up the car he spent a long time talking me through all the functions, and set up the infotainment and user preferences for me. Previously I had an Escalade that I bought from Sewell Cadillac in Houston - I remember saying to my wife that I didn't know what car I would buy next but I knew I'd buy it from Sewell. I appreciate the level of service, the staff knowledge, and more than anything else I find everyone I deal with to be trustworthy, which is not the case in many dealers. My Escalade was stolen, I was looking for a Range Rover, I didn't know that Sewell had a Land Rover dealer so I looked online. I was really pleased to find a link on the Land Rover USA website. Thano picked up on the first call and looked after me throughout the process. It's not often that buying a new car is a pleasant experience, but this time it was. I cannot compliment Thano enough, I guess you've realized that by now.... His level of service, knowledge and attention is what will bring customers back for their next car and the car after that. This was our second time working with Sewell within a 1 year time frame. Thano and the full sales team over there at Sewell are great to work with. My wife and I fully enjoy the entire buying process and look forward to the next purchase!
