Amazing as always

The customer service at this dealership keeps me coming back. I feel more like family than a customer. From the first inquiry online to walking out with the keys to a new car no one does it better than the team at Whaling City!!

You guys rock!

Angel and Aaron made the buying experience so easy for my wife's car that I bought one myself. Greg and Darnell walked us though each piece of paper/contract we were signing, the requirements for use and impact to cost. My price range, options and requests for both vehicles were met and exceeded. I am a returning customer and will be again.

Minimal pressure, upbeat and responsive

Dan was awesome- informative, responsive, minimal pressure. From communicating via website and email, to the ease of setting an appointment, to sealing the deal and driving away (on the same day), the team was responsive and committed to an outcome that would be truly beneficial to both parties.

Great experience

Helpful and knowledgeable

They made the buying experience easy! The salesman knew everything there was to know about the car and took the time to show me how to use all the features. Very nice people!

Excellent process in buying

Walk right in the door, instant service right on the steps to the upstairs. Great process in checking out a car you are interested in, and staff is very friendly. Was interested in a 2014 mustang, and went right outside to check it out, and even test drove it within 5 minutes. Came back, was interested to learn more, and the sales person was very knowledgeable, when it came to the specs. We were interested also in looking under the car, and the customer service was great when they brought it right in the shop, and up onto a lift for us to look under the car. After seeing the car in pretty good shape for a 2014, we were pretty confident we were going to make a deal, so we did. The entire process of buying the car from then on our went smooth, with no hesitations and again, friendly service with understanding of their customers. Great job Kris and Darnell, and thanks again for the great experience. -Bobby

Not Your Father’s Car Buying Experience

Not all Car Dealerships are the same..... if you are looking to purchase a Ford vehicle in Connecticut go see the great folks at Whaling Ford in New London. I was in the market for a certified Mustang for my son and had shopped on line until we found the car he was interested in. Called Whaling and spoke with a gentleman named Bear, let him know what I was looking for and he promised to call me back . He called back in a timely manner and answered all the questions I had. We agreed to meet and Bear introduced me to our Sales Associate Kris Qirici. Kris was prepared from the start. Gave my son and I a warm greeting, had all paperwork ready regarding the car and keys in hand. Kris took one for the team and poured himself into the back seat of the Mustang while my son and I sat up front for a test ride. We were pleased with the vehicle but I wanted to get the car up on a lift to look at under carriage and brake system. Well, thought that would take a while but no more than 5 minutes later we were welcomed into the garage to take a look. Kris and the Whaling car mechanic where quick to answer the questions we had with no B.S. so we decided to make an offer..... the dreaded first offer and the hours of back and forth negotiation where at hand. But No!!! After reviewing our options with Kris we had a very fair deal agreed upon in 20 minutes including a multitude of very fair finance options. Next we were off to see Darnell Williams, finance manager to review agreement as well as extended warranty options. What a surprise! No old school sales pitches trying to sell us every add on package known to man. Explained what may be good options based on our car choice and situation and carefully listened to our questions and concerns to ensure we would be satisfied with our purchase. We closed the deal with handshakes all around . Thanks Kris and Darnell for the excitement you showed my son on the purchase of his first car!!! Agreed to pick the car up a day later so Whaling could detail the “STANG”. Kris followed through with his promise to made sure the car was pristine when we picked it up!! So.... Friendly salesman who truly took interest in my son’s needs, answered all questions honestly and made us feel comfortable through the process. A finance manager who was articulate and honest and wanted to make sure I was pleased when we closed the deal and great service from the garage and car detail team. Whaling gets it!!! Where both parties feel good about the purchase!!! My son is a very proud Mustang owner, Thanks again Kris, Darnell , Bear and the Whaling Ford team for making it happen!!!
