Scammers and liars

I bought a car (NISSAN ALTIMA) from this dealership in 2019. I put down $1500.00 for a car worth $3500.00. When i went into this dealership, my car had just been repossessed by my bank because i was behind my payments. My credit score was low too at this moment. When i got into Prime Auto dealers, the salesman who welcomed me said "we will help you rebuild your credit. Just keep up with your payments and we too will report these payments to the credit bureaus and in no distant time, your credit scorw will go back up" I took them for their word and I kept up with my payments. No missed payment from June 2019 to October 2020. In late october 2020 I walked into a dealership in search of a new car because this Nissan was already giving me some headaches and to my greatest disappointment the dealership told me we can not take your Nissan Altima 2007 trade-in because the car is not registered in your name and there is no reporting of those payments to any credit bureau. I was shocked and disappointed at the same time. I reached out to Prime Auto Dealers to get explanations and they told me "we are not oblaged to report your payments to the credit bureaus". I contacted BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU to abitrate on this matter because when i calculated all what i had paid for this car, it was already close to $5000.00 and they were still asking me $3500.00. The value of this car at that moment on KBB was $1000.00. I proposed to BBB that i am willing to pay this KBB value of the car to the dealership if only they will give me the title of the car because they didn't keep their part of thr deal which is to report my payments to the credit bureaus even as I kept up with my payments. BBB has contacted this dealership since October for their response to my complaint but they have not tried to reply. They don't care. Instead I received email reminders of my passed due payments and threatening to charge my account to collections if I do not comply. I will not advise anyone to go to these people because they are more or less scammers and liars. They dont care what happens to you after sales; afterall, they have hit you. Very poor customer service.
