Over 50 days to diagnose and repair car

Between waiting for an appointment for diagnosis, the second time on the same issue (although the claim was it was a new problem - NOT! People chose not to listen to me, and were more interested in proving their own agenda) waiting for parts, then waiting for a service date, waiting again for parts because one was wrong, my car was unavailable for me to use for over 50 days! I was fed a whole slew of excuses. Never once an apology. I was even told that when 13 days later when I would be bring the car in for diagnostic there would be no one to give me a ride home. To ask a neighbor! My neighbors work. I am the one in the neighborhood who is retired. I walked two miles home. Is this anyway to treat a customer, an older person, a widow who is trying her damdest to hold it all together? Not by any stretch of the imagination. Telling me that people in other areas are way behind on servicing customers does not make any of this acceptable! Excuses do not solve bad customer service! This “process” was not just an inconvenience, it was more. I had to change plans and cancel plans. In the end, for as long as I had to wait, my car better work properly for a long time. I was tempted to tell service I would be back in to pay in the same number of days I had waited. Would have been fair! I kept extensive notes. If Yellowstone Motors has questions, contact me. Anita, first, we are truly sorry for your loss. We do understand that when a repair turns into a major undertaking, it's frustrating and an inconvenience. We did try to alleviate as many of those frustrations as possible—we didn't have anyone available so our Service Writer got someone to cover for her while she drove you home—so we're a bit taken aback by how our efforts were perceived. Still, it's a learning opportunity for us and we will discuss ways to improve communication when repairs are taking longer than expected.

2023 Chevy Trailblazer

Kenny is an exceptional sales person, NO pressure to purchase, allowed us to test drive the car to see if my husband could get in and out of the car with ease. He is in the hospital 20 miles away recovering from a stroke and could not get into anything we had. Allowing me to take the car to him was the selling point for me. I would HIGHLY recommend Kenny Parker at Yellowstone Motors in Powell, WY as the salesman to deal with.

Excellent

We are from Alabama and I called the service department to see if there was anyway we could get our car serviced. The maintenance light was on and we thought we had an issue with our brakes. The service manager allowed us to come in without an appointment because he wanted us to have safe travels. What an awesome guy and an outstanding team! We are extremely grateful. Please take your business to these great people.

Thanks for all you do!

I would highly recommend Yellowstone motors for buying a car and their maintenance department. We got a good deal on a van and were able to trade in our other car which went smooth and easy. Also, the Maintenace department fixed our van trailer hitch on a Saturday without an appointment and did it right away so we could go on our trip, we were so grateful. Also, they humbly and honestly admitted their mistake and were willing to fix it free of charge. Other places wouldn't do that. So that made us respect them all the more, You guys did great thank you for all you do keep up the good work!
