Ryan was a tremendous help -- a guide, really. I needed his expertise and what he showed me is that it's not about the car, necessarily, it's about the person. Every move we made was driven by what I needed and wanted, what my expectations and requirements (and worries and fears) were, not a need to sell a car. When expectations and fears collide, it's only a really good salesperson that can help you sort that out and match you with the right short or long term solution. Ryan's a _really good salesperson_ in the way we should be understanding what that means: taking the time to listen, so that he can find a solution that is appropriate for the person who's come to him for help.

Hocine is the best . . . will look out for you!
Go see Hocine and you won't be disappointed. Although it took 3 months to receive my new Ridgeline (not the dealership's fault), Hocine (and the dealership) honored the price with no game playing. Same with selling them my prior Ridgeline (with 160k miles and needing several repairs). A great price (new Bluebook) and no smogging needed. I'm a very happy customer.

Experience buying Honda HR-V
No excessive dealer markups. No pressure to buy extra warranties or other stuff. Customer service is great. Pre-ordered. Dealership kept in touch regarding arrival of car. Ricky Saetern is the best!

different than buying cars in the past
Very different buying a car during an inventory shortage. Overall a positive experience, but I'm not a fan of mandatory dealer add-ons such as LoJack. Also there was a related issue that one of the interior panels of the car was not reattached properly after the LoJack installation. After discovering this, I had to bring the car back in for repair and wait 3 hours for this to be resolved (I was led to believe this would be a very quick repair).
