On 6/24/2025, I went in to lease a 2025 Tiguan.
On 6/24/2025, I went in to lease a 2025 Tiguan. I wanted a specific model, trim, color and interior. I was told they located a car with my specifications at a dealership in south Texas and the car had been secured. I signed all the paperwork that day, with the specific VIN # on the document, put down first months payment and thought that meant the sale was final. The salesperson James told me he was personally going to drive down in the morning to get the car and it would be ready for pickup in 2 to 3 days. On 6/26/2025 I get a call from James (still have the voicemail) saying he did not drive down to get the car, but it was being loaded on a truck for delivery so that additional miles would not accrue on the vehicle. An hour later... I got a call saying they had bad news. The car was sold to someone else. At this point I was speaking to a manager named Michael. I expressed my frustration and told them they needed to find me another car ASAP as I had sold my old car and was now left with no transportation. Micheal told me that for the past day and a half he had been searching all over for a car with my exact specifications, they did not exist. I told him that James had JUST left me a voicemail saying the car was being put on a truck...so this means that they knew the car had been sold out from under me without letting me know... otherwise why would they have been looking for another car during this time? Makes no sense. And if that was the case.... why was I just told the car was on a truck on the way to DFW? During ALL this... I was not notified of the issue once. They then asked me to settle for a different exterior color or interior color. No... I am the customer and get to choose that for which I am paying. I told them they needed to provide me with a loaner car for my troubles as I now had no transportation while I figured out my next steps in finding a new car. They said they would do that. I went up to the dealership and told them I would be ok with a Sandstone color exterior with the same interior and specs as the original car I signed for since no white ones existed. They called me the morning of 6/30/2025 and said they found one at a local dealership and it would be on the lot by our set appointment time that afternoon. I was even told they would cover the first 2 months payments for my troubles. Later that day, I got a call stating ONCE AGAIN....That car fell through as well. At this point I was FURIOUS! They once again tried to get me to settle for a car I did not want! I WAS DONE! Jerry, the GM, then told me I needed to bring the loaner car back that day. I told him the BVA I signed said I had the car until July 4th. I needed it still to secure a vehicle at this point. I went to another local dealership and from the moment I walked in... It was top notch service and professionalism. I ended up getting the car I wanted from that dealership. I called Jerry and told him I secured a deal at another dealership. I told him since I cannot drive two cars(loaner and new purchase)... I was going to leave the loaner at that dealership, and he could have someone come get it if he needed it that day(as mentioned to me earlier). The dealerships are about fifteen miles from one another. At this point he began YELLING at me saying if I did not return the car to him TODAY, He was calling the police and having me arrested. I was in shock. Thankfully, the salesman at the professional dealership was in the car with me and heard EVERY WORD. He was even shocked at this behavior. I told him legally I had the car until July 4th per the paperwork. But he was not hearing it. I terminated the call at that point as I was not willing to be threatened and harassed any longer. About 5 minutes later, I received a call saying someone was coming to get the loaner. From start to finish this was the most unprofessional encounter I have EVER experienced.

Purchased a 2024 Atlas on September 7th.
Purchased a 2024 Atlas on September 7th. Rims were ordered and 3 months later I still have not received the rims or any update on the status. Went to the dealership twice and was told they were on back order & they will be in the week of Thanksgiving. I was told that by Carlos. Went in again in December and was told they are still not in and Carlos was not that day. Contacted the dealersjip via the online chat twice requesting to be contacted and still no response after being told someone will contact me. Very disappointing. Here it is December 11th and I am leaving a review in hopes of getting this resolved before '2025. I received so many calls from the dealership before purchasing the vehicle that I had to block the number. After all the paperwork has been signed and the vehicle driven off the lot I won't be referring anyone.

Stay away from this group.
Stay away from this group. I regret not going to frisco Hendricks. Worth the trip. Apparently add ons are mandatory per their general manager Ash. Even though the msrp said it was an option and even their contract and warranty states that they still added it to the outdoor price and said it is up to this branch to add or remove no inputs from customer who is buying this car. Calling and walking into the shop to remove the warranty and additions is like talking to a brick wall. Again if you want good service and no underhanded tactics your best dealer is with the frisco dealership. This is copied from another poster who echoes my sentiment, as I have went to the dealership twice, left a voicemail, and called several times to be sent to voicemail attempting to cancel the add on warranties for the 2024 crossport we purchased. This dishonesty at the finance department is unacceptable. Explain your add ons & ask if wanted, instead of stating they are included. Darryl the sales guy is a decent person, the sales manager was ok, though he tried to undervalue my trade by nearly 9k. Which they then claimed was due to damage, yet sold it less than 3 days later. There was not any exit setup from the dealership. We still have not received account set up notice from VW in the mail as promised. i had to call them for the account number to get logged in. We did not set up any VW app, and again, researched on our own to complete the promise. They sent the salesman Daryl off to a another walk up customer so i don't blame him. But not a good exit procedure. Had to come back and ask for floor mats again, was told they would be ordered. Ended up having another salesman go & removing from another vehicle. Carlos in finance needs to be retrained or let go.

Kingrazgriz, we are sorry to hear that your experience with us in sales was not what you had in mind. We appreciate your feedback and ensure you we are passing it along to our leadership for review. Among your notes, we appreciate your praise regarding your time with Darryl and will be reviewing your feedback regarding the rest of the experience. If you would like to discuss your notes additionally, you may reach our General Sales Manager, TJ Ashraf at tashraf@tomesautogroup.com or or (972) 632-2055. Take care and best wishes!
I have spoken with Tj, who followed through the entire conversation referring to me as "brother", claiming that everything was a lie & extortion to get more money out of the dealership on a deal they had already took a loss to make a profit on. I attempted to explain the principle.of the matter, from the lack of full disclosure to add-ons in the vehicle deal, to their way of digital signing which has been reported in multiple states for dealer upping the peice and puahing deals without allowing time for the customer to review. He rebuffed this by stating there was no money to be gained from the deal or to be given. He also stated that if they had made a "huge killing" off of my deal, & I reviewed my paperwork and called it out, they would be more inclined to change stances. But since it was a loss, there is nothing to be done. Additionally, he offered to make my 1st month's car payment, which I took it as sidestepping the issue and ignoring my actual issue. I declined this. He then compared my review of his dealership to a steak dinner, claiming your quick to bash a bad dinner, but not praise when you've had a good one. Also a lie, because I talk up good places, & send them business. At the end of the call, I informed them I would not be removing my reviews and this has not changed my outlook of the dealership. I will proceed with my FTC complaint & hope their practices are fully investigated.

I was looking for a car and came across Brandon Tomes.
I was looking for a car and came across Brandon Tomes. I spoke with a kid named Ryan and he was awesome! I explained I was looking for a Mid-size SUV and was interested in the Volkswagen Atlas. He said he could vouch for this model because that is what he drove. He text me proof that he just wasn't saying this to grab a sale. I let him know I still needed to do more research and get my green in order and he was good and not pushy about trying to close a sale. I appreciated that more than I can say! It was refreshing not to be suffocated by a pushy salesperson!
