Worst vehicle I have ever purchased. Oil wasn’t changed, car has been wrecked and that information wasn’t disclosed to me. Had to put $3000.00 of repairs into the car. Haven’t received the title car was purchased 05/28/2024. Now I have relocated and have to file for a lost title. Future buyers of Tazwell Motors in Creve Couer, IL look over the vehicle real good before purchasing @ least make sure the oil is clear and brakes are good.

I paid $3000.00 for a used UNSAFE vehicle at Tazewell Motors, I could have lost my children and killed others given the unsafe condition this vehicle was sold in. The brake line broke in less than two weeks. My mechanic informed me the truck was not safe to ever drive again. The entire steering column was deteriorated underneath and ready to fall off. I got a second opinion. Same story. The truck can never be repaired to a road safe condition. David Norman knew I was buying the truck for the ability to carry car seats in it for my 2 and 4 year old. I tried going back to him, and after learning what happened, he said I bought it 'AS IS' and after the 1st conversation he hung up on all calls. Mechanical 'AS IS' I understand, but safety should not fall under this. My children could have died in this vehicle in this 'AS IS' condition. I have pictures of the underneath of this vehicle and still have access to the vehicle to prove my story. A quote from his ad says 'vehicles for sale that have been thoroughly inspected by our trained technicians'. This would appear this vehicle was inspected and knowingly sold to a parent of young children in this unsafe on the road condition, and also what could have been other accident victims, had I lost my steering on the highway.

bought a very nice used vehicle at a good price I was very happy with it overall. David was helpful and polite-he wasn't pushy at all like a lot of salespeople and overall it was a great experience! definitely recommend

BUYER BEWARE! As a small business owner I was reluctant to post anything negative about another owner but after seeing other information I feel like this guy needs to called out. We have joined the club of David Norman, owner of Tazwell Motors, in getting ripped off buying a used vehicle. Partially my fault buying something with high miles because he seemed like a trustworthy guy. He has a past and is continually ripping people off. Check out ”Victims of Peoria Motors” to read what this con artist has done to so many people. I hope this saves someone else from getting screwed over by this bad person. Cannot understand how people like him are allowed to continue to do this and can’t figure out how he looks at his children and/or sleeps at night! I truly believe in Karma and can only hope she stops by his place one day!

I use David's shop for all my car services. The staff is very knowledgeable and will make sure my car is running perfectly before it leaves the shop.
