Absolute incompetence and a total waste of time. Do not trust Schomp Ford if you are buying a vehicle from out of state. I spent over a week coordinating the remote purchase of a car, only for the deal to collapse due to their sheer lack of professionalism. June 20: I reached out expressing interest in a vehicle they had in stock. June 24: I requested the out-of-the-door (OTD) price to finalize financing with my bank. They explicitly included an out-of-state notary service fee in this quote to complete the paperwork remotely, as I planned to ship the car. June 27–29: They convinced me to submit a credit application so they could try to beat my bank's loan terms. They ran my credit and agreed to match my bank's rate. June 30: I asked to finalize the paperwork. They assured me the remote notary would contact me shortly. July 1: With an employee incentive deadline looming, I pressed them for a firm timeline. Only then did they finally realize they could not actually complete this purchase remotely. They abruptly told me I had to appear in person—which was impossible for me and directly contradicted everything we had negotiated. Because they do not understand their own out-of-state sales process, I now have an unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit report, days of wasted time, and no vehicle. They will happily tank your credit score and string you along before realizing they don't know how to close the deal. Avoid this dealership.

Came in to purchase a new F-150 after finding one online I liked. I went to the dealership and was hit with the ole bait n switch tactic. The truck I wanted had a “do not sell” (supposedly) clause on it because of a rear axle recall. I found another truck that was comparable, but also $2,000 more than the one I wanted. The motto of “one person, one price, one hour” is a lie. I dealt with two people, was there for close to 8 hours, and the price I was given was NOT the price displayed online, despite the sales for the Truck Month and March Madness with Schomp. I was told that this was due to the “confusing wording” on the webpage, but the part that says “up to X-thousand off MSRP” means that all of the discounts they offer you cannot be combined if they exceed this amount. It also said 60-months, 0% APR AND NO PAYMENT FOR 90 DAYS. Was told by my sales person that if I opted to go with that specific deal, $2,000 in dealer incentives would be removed, DESPITE the website showing that the deals would be combined on 2025 F-150’s. Overall, my salesman, Bryan, was pretty good. He’s knowledgeable, straight to the point, and there were no frills or wasted time with him. Kristen was very, very helpful, kind, polite, well-spoken, and knowledgeable. She was able to negotiate a higher trade in price for me, on my behalf and made it effortless. Thank you. The only experience was decent, but I will tell anyone preparing to shop here to do their homework into the sales first and do NOT anticipate only being there an hour.
