Customer Care

We bought a used 2018 Atlas from Volkswagen of New Port Richey back in May of 2019. After discovering a major leak from the sunroof and brought the car back in to be addressed. The service department was kind courteous and informative. Unfortunately that was not the end of our issues with the sunroof. We discovered another leak that was as bad as the first. My husband called and we brought the car in, we ended up working with the sales department, Mark and Andrew who sold us the original 2018 Atlas. They worked diligently to get us into a new Atlas that fit our needs and didn’t cost us anything out of packet. We couldn’t be happier with customer care we received, and we felt that we were cared for at Volkswagen of New Port Richey! We would highly recommend this dealer to anyone interested in buying a car!

Excellent Experience

From start to finish my experience with Josh my salesman,John and Aaron was top notch. After I made a decision on my vehicle they were fast and efficient on getting me complete with my transaction. The dealership and people are impressive.

Lied to by sales manager

On 8/17/2019 I called and inquired about a 2018 Mercedes Benz CLA250 that this dealership has for sale. The listing price was $26,139.00 After speaking with the salesman (Alain) I gave my credit card number to hold a deposit until I could make the trip to the dealership the next morning (as I lived out of town) at which time I would review the car in person and hope to negotiate a price? Later that afternoon I received a phone call from a gentleman by the name of John whom claimed to be the sales manager whom stated, “before I charge your credit card I wanted to call you and let you know the price of the car is $26,139.00.” I informed him that I was aware and would negotiate that price tomorrow when I arrived. He responded that, “on this vehicle the price is not negotiable.” So I further explained that prior to me calling I had two different family members call and make two different offers ($25,999.00 and $25,500.00) which were accepted. So I would know what range of negotiation I was working with. John then try to make excuses that typically ever vehicle is negotiable except this one. I again added that two different people received two different quotes but when I call and place a deposit to show that I’m serious about buying this vehicle I’m given know negotiation? Please note, the difference is only $639.00. I speak highly of the salesman (Alain) but will not be doing business nor would I ever recommend Volkswagen of New Port Richie. Unsatisfied, Damon Lee

Mr. Lee, I would like apologize for the frustration you experienced while you were trying to purchase the 2018 Mercedes that we had at our store, I have looked into the process as it pertains to your deal and have found the following details. Pricing - As it pertains to pricing our vehicles, our internet advertised price is the only price our salespeople are allowed to quote without receiving specific instructions from our sales management team. If a family member received a different price on the phone I specifically would like to know the name of the employee involved so that we can review our policy with them when it comes to pricing. Just so you know I checked our CRM system and there where only two inquiries on that vehicle on 8/17/19, yours and a customer that was in our local market. Deposit - When it comes to deposits we always want to make sure that we communicate with you the consumer and have as many details taken care of before you arrive at the dealership, that is why Jon called you that afternoon to follow up before running your Credit Card . We try to confirm pricing, financing (if necessary), and any other request you might have when it pertains to the vehicle. You were going to be driving in from a couple of hours away we always try to do our due diligence because we never want someone to feel like they made a trip for nothing when a follow up phone call can make sure we are all on the same page. Discounting/Negotiation - As you know our internet pricing is extremely aggressive and while typically a car price has some negotiation room, some of our vehicle we feel very good about our price and we don't negotiate that price at all. This particular car was priced at a wholesale level typically 2-3k below a normal retail price and we felt very confident that we could sell this vehicle at the internet price. Also, the 2018 Mercedes had only been on our lot for 7 days and our pricing model doesn't change until the vehicle reaches closer to 60 days. We all know that buying a car can be a tough especially when you are looking for that perfect late model used car with low miles on it, we never want to complicate the process without being upfront and honest about expectations and requirements needed to purchase that vehicle. I am very sorry that this experience didn't finish with us being able to sell you a car but please understand we were trying to make sure you weren't driving 8 hours round trip on a vehicle that the price wasn't going to change on. I'm speechless...

It's taken me all day to find the words to describe my experience with Iwaoa, let alone the dealership. We came in on a whim to get a spare part for our older GTI, while in the waiting room, Iwona approached my husband and just started talking. No sales talk, no what are you in the market far, just good ol' human interaction. We came back that Wednesday night so I could take a peek at the Atlas and meet Iwona. A quick introduction and at no point did I feel pressured or attacked for a sale. The following morning we exchanged emails and what vehicle we really wanted. A week went by and we did not get any phone calls, texts asking where we were or when we were coming back. Iwona just trusted us and took our word we would return. We returned and met the trade-in manager (sorry I can't remember your name) who was very professional/unprofessional, in a good way! He was human and joked with us. The whole process took less then three hours.We never once felt like we didn't belong there, pressured, scared into anything or taking advantage of. This is our 10th VW and Iwona was just amazing, Thank you Iwona for taking such good care of my family. Keep rocking the stat board and knock them boys off! Thank you VW of NPR for an amazing experience!

My experience was so wonderful! Everyone was very pleasant.

From the time I walked in the door at Volkswagen of New Port Richey , everyone was all smiles and willing to help me get the car I loved with a price that I could afford. Thank you for making the car shopping experience so much better than my previous experiences.

Buying a Used car

Joshua was very helpful and professional when helping us test drive multiple cars and inevitably purchasing one of the vehicles. He helped us reach a good price and provided an answer with every question we had. No complaints at all

Great Experience.

Stephen and Pat were awesome to work with and great people and love my VW Tiguan. Stephan was so sweet and very professional. I highly recommend VW of New Port Richey!

Fantastic, Friendly, Family

We just loved everything about our experience at VW New Port Richey. They made my husband, myself and our son feel like part of the family. Our son made “friends” with all the sales and management there - he’s 5 years old. Stephen was fantastic - he helped us every step of the way and was always a phone call or text away to answer any questions and keep us updated on our new Atlas. The GM, Pat is the best. He worked us an awesome deal! We will be back for our next Atlas in a couple years!

2002 Corvette

Nice staff, good service. Was looking for a C5 Corvette and found one at this VW dealership! Guess that’s just the world of used cars! Staff was easy to work with and offered a nice price for the car.

Great Car Buying Experience

Josh made purchasing my daughter's car very easy, which is the kind of experience I was looking for. He was very pleasant and made sure to answer all our questions/concerns. He was very helpful and willing to help with our decision, but wasn't pushy. I wasn't planning to buy the car when I went into the dealership that night, but we couldn't pass up the deal that was struck. Upon signing all the closing documents, Pat stopped by to make sure that our experience was a pleasurable one. He also provided his contact information to ensure if something occurred in the future, he would make sure it was taken care of. We really appreciated our experience and would recommend VW of NPR to others.
