My initial impression of this dealer was very positive. Not pushy, no “tactics” GREAT inventory. These guys know what is hot and what sells. All that being said I bought a 45,000$ truck from them “as is” I knew what I was getting in to with “as is purchasing” no warranty expected. I was informed that this service center installed/ or rebuilt the front end of the trucks as rams are know to eat ball joint and rod ends.. I was happy to hear that. Fast forward roughly 25 days and MINIMAL miles on the truck (less than 150 miles) I drove the truck out to my camp to check on my camper and on the way back the truck picked up the slightest vibration (no wobble not shaking not bad) however I was slightly concerned and wonder if I lost a wheel weight or if a tire came out of balance, then suddenly with out warning all the wheel studs sheared off the truck. Subsequently the rotor slammed in to the wheel splitting the wheel in half and sending a dismounted tire and split wheel in the wood as I skidded to a stop off the road. I’m a seasoned driver but this was terrifying to say the least. Contact was made with the shop after numerous try’s but we finally spoke. Billy did express genuine concern for what had happened. He also informed me that he was concerned that this could have happened as a fault of improper lug nuts being installed prior to the sale of the truck. I’d like to think “as is” refers to the mechanicals of the truck and not his shop’s craftsmanship or labor on something they worked on. I do believe that this shop has good values and will ultimately make this right for me (even though they probably do not “legally” have to) they should WANT to. I will keep this review updated as the shop has requested my repair bill for review and resolution.
