Brought it in for the annual checkup.

Brought it in for the annual checkup. Everything was completed in a timely manner and Marc told what I did and did not need. No pressure for unnecessary services. Always a pleasure dealing with Marc and the staff.

The team at Volvo Oak Park os always friendly and professional. The service team is especially knowledgeable. I also appreciate the skill of rhe mechanics. I am never disappointed with the quality of service.

I always get great service when taking my car in for

I always get great service when taking my car in for service, or just an oil change at The Autobarn Volvo in Oak Park. On my most recent oil change visit, and with advice from service advisor Marc Kubil, I scheduled an appointment for having my brakes replaced, since the pads were very worn. I trust in them in spotting any problems before something goes wrong.

Both William Sammauro and Jay Conley assisted us in the

Both William Sammauro and Jay Conley assisted us in the purchase of our XC90 B6 2025.5 William provided us with the view order form and transit information- he kept us updated. Jay showed his knowledge of the car by demonstrating, discussing and answering our questions.. And last but not least Martha was very helpful in explaining the extended warranty. What a great team!

I liked how they capitalize on every opportunity to move

I liked how they capitalize on every opportunity to move things forward. I called Friday morning to set up an appointment for the future...they said I could bring car in today. Together, we made it happen. The only hiccup was pick up the keys were lost temporarily due to a mixup of they key tag.

The sales guy here tried to use tariffs to get me to put

The sales guy here tried to use tariffs to get me to put a deposit down before coming out if I really was interested in an xc90 they had on the lot. Autobarn has their cars priced higher than other dealers in the area, so I was just curious if they'd negotiate that price. Steve told me that there was no chance he could give me a break on price from list beyond a few hundred dollars, and laughed when I told him what I thought the car was worth and that I should go to Volvo of Lisle if I think I can get that price. I got the price I thought the car was worth at Volvo of Lisle. No one tried sleazy car sales guy tactics on me, so I bought there instead of Oak Park and the next week Steve followed up with me with that same car still for sale, no deposit down.

I had high hopes purchasing my first brand new vehicle,

I had high hopes purchasing my first brand new vehicle, but my experience at Autobarn Oak Park was extremely disappointing. When I arrived to finalize the sale, no one walked me through the car or explained a single feature — something you'd expect at any dealership, especially one selling a luxury vehicle. I had to ask just to see the car before signing paperwork. There was no orientation, no overview, and no attention to detail during delivery. I wanted to transfer my plates which I had brought with me, and I was bullied into getting new plates by the staff. The car was dirty and I had to bring it back to be cleaned. The next day I realized the car had a sensor issue and less than 24 hours after purchase, I had to take my car in to be serviced and pick up a loaner vehicle — completely unacceptable for a brand new car. The general manager promised to resolve the situation and have the owner of the dealership call me. This never happened. I had to send two follow up emails before I got a response. The dealership did not honor the final price we had agreed upon — the financed price was higher than quoted, and they refused to honor their quote. When I raised these concerns and tried to resolve the issue directly with their team, their only offer was to take the car back, which did nothing to address the time, money, or frustration I had already invested. It also would leave me spending additional time and money searching for a new vehicle, of which I had already spent weeks doing. The entire experience felt rushed, impersonal, and dismissive. For a dealership representing a premium brand, the lack of transparency, customer care, and accountability was shocking. I would not recommend buying from this location.
