Worst out of state buying experience.
Excellent service.. Until I sent my deposit. Had to ask for an update every step of the way. Receive the paperwork? Lender transferred funds? Is the car shipped? When will the car arrive? When are you paying registration and sending the title? Why do I need to ask these basic questions? I’ve bought 3 other vehicles out of state, which include eBay and a VWVortex. (Yes, an auction site from a dealer in Las Vegas and a dude on an internet forum from Jersey, were both better buying experiences than this dealer) Tell your customers what is going on and avoid reviews like this! It takes less than 60 second to reply to an email. Not asking for a livestream here. No communication when a week goes by is unprofessional at best. Gave deposit on 2-19-21, received car 3-21-21. Still waiting for my license plates as of 5-11--21. You do the math. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE OUT OF STATE. Also, they post date their checks.

Leased a loaner vehicle while not disclosing the vehicle was in an accident. Additionally they performed a multi point inspection on service and found no issue, but the car still had engine problems. On the second service they found the issue and assume that it was due to oil installation incorrectly done but very odd they did not catch on the first try. Car has problems since day 1.

waste of my time
called for service appointment. specifically told representative that i was having a transmission problem and also an issue with a broken screw on rear tail light housing . i informed telephone rep that i required a loaner car as well. when i arrived for my service appointment the advisor informed me no loaner car was available. also advised me that they do not do any service on transmissions that they only replace them. i showed the tech the issue with broken lens screw. waited for repair only to find when i got home it was never fixed. although i was not charged for service i wasted more than 2 hours and got none of my issues resolved.

Tire and wheel package warrantee
It took them over three weeks to fix minor scuffs in my wheels. I bought the tire wheel warrantee for $3000 , Huntington’s Land Rover wants nothing to do with any repairs. They can’t be bothered. Then, aftr I finally get my car delivered back to my house , it has 4 almost flat tires. My lil daughter and I couldn’t even get to school the next day because the car was all over the rd. Next to no air in any of the tires No disregard for safety of the owners once you drive off the lot. Disgraceful service dept
I'd like to first off apologize for your experience you had with obtaining a wheel repair through our dealership. Unfortunately, we have no control over the vendors that your tire and wheel company uses to perform your repairs. Since the vehicle nor the contract was purchased at our location it is important to note we are just playing the middleman. However, it is important to note that when you have a problem with a company or place where you purchased that contract from, you might want to post your frustrations with them. Our goal and intent is to always help all customers no matter what. What a pleasure from start to finish. We dealt with Mel Schafino. He was attentive and listened to my needs. He was prompt and quick to reply. I?d reached out to about 7 or 8 Land Rover vehicles and they either took forever to get back to me, seemed too busy for my business or were just rude. I just picked up my 2018 Velar from JLR Huntington. and couldn’t have been happier with the sales experience. One of the smoothest and least complicated car purchases I’ve ever had. I came across the car I was interested in (R-Dynamic HSE, white/tan, 2.0 turbo 4) on Autotrader and made an appointment for a test drive later in the week. I worked with Kevin Sharkey in the sales department. He brought the car around and let me and my wife take it for a spin. We took a nice drive and, when we returned to the dealership, I would go home and consider it. Kevin wasn’t the least bit pushy and politely said he would call me the next day. Not wanting to lose out on a good deal, I phoned Kevin the following afternoon and, after a few calls worth of negotiating, settled on (what I feel) is a very fair and reasonable number for the car. We spoke several times over the next week and I requested a few changes to the agreement (I’d first decided to trade in a vehicle but then changed my mind) and delivery date. The dealership was always accommodating and made everything easy for me. My wife and I couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend this dealership. We’d especially suggest that you ask for Kevin if you appreciate a smooth and easy purchase/delivery experience. Shout out to Michael who patiently and courteously spent 20 minutes with my wife and I reviewing and explaining how to use all of the car’s complex technology!
