I went to Mohawk Honda today with the intentions of purchasing a vehicle. I was pre approved through my credit union, so the finance part was all done. The only things left were there test drive and working out the final price. I had an excellent sales woman with the initials of M.H, who was educated on the vehicle and polite. When I asked for a better price, her manager with the initials KvB came over and stated “Are you looking for some love?” I said huh. He said “Do you want some love here?” I said absolutely not, I’m looking to buy a vehicle. This was a very very odd thing to say to a customer. He didn’t say much after that when I asked him what he meant, finally stated that he wouldn’t move on the price and he left. That’s all fine and well. As a customer of course I’m going to ask for a better deal. BUT, the problem remained of him propositioning me. I spoke with the owners daughter, she was polite and professional and stated she believed that he didn’t mean what he said. I advised her that words matter, and that his didn’t leave much room for interpretation. Imagine if he said this to a woman? Needless to say, I left. Car dealers all sell the same thing. What separates one from another is service. Be wary of doing business at this dealership.
