Beware to any buyers!
Beware to any buyers!! If you’re a young innocent women, like myself, do not come here alone! These people will take advantage of you without even blinking an eye!! Please bring someone with you who has knowledge about cars/paperwork and will ask all the right questions, and make sure you aren’t overpaying for things you don’t need. I’ve always heard people in Car Sales/Finance were slimy people that take advantage of you, but I’ve always had good experiences with this dealership in the past, so I’m very disappointed to find out that I was horribly taken advantage of by a dealership I’ve trusted for years. Please make sure you look over everything very, very thoroughly because the finance department is very greedy and will add on stuff and not even tell you, and just hope you sign away without noticing or ask any questions.. Shame on me for not knowing any better and trusting them but shame on them even more for taking advantage of someone who didn’t know any better!

We had an appointment to look at a new camaro.
We had an appointment to look at a new camaro. We drove 1hr 20 minutes to check out the car and make a deal. When we got there they didn't have any new camaros. Oops. Extremely disappointing and upset. Went through 3 people and all are clueless. But what really ruffled my feathers is my kbb trade in value for my 2012 camaro is $16500 to $17800. And they had the nerve to offer me $12000 after all that!!! REALLY??? They aren't going to see a penny from me. You guys messed up bigtime because i was ready to write the check! Hope you have the time to read your reviews Mr. Wahlberg

No service, when you schedule service.
They were a great dealer to buy the new car from. But when I had the letter sent to me from GM about installing the chips in my new car, I called the dealership up and told them what letter I received, and they called me back a couple days later and told me the part is in. I scheduled the service for 7:45 in the morning, they told me it’s about a 2 to 3 hour service, so they gave me a ride home. It’s now going on 2 o’clock in the afternoon and they never did the chip service because they said they didn’t have the part. I called them back and play the voicemail. I was left that said the part came in to schedule the service. So I did schedule the service for it, but got no service. I don’t think they know what’s really going on there. Time to find a new service dealership.

Great Experience
I purchased a new Chevy Colorado. The salesman was John Zvosecz. This was a great experience. There wasn't any high pressure. I took the truck for a test drive and that sold me. John showed me how all of the controls work. After I purchased the truck he took me to the gas station and filled the tank. That cost $75.00. Very Happy

Avoid Like Covid.
Stopped to look at a used Corvette , on the lot with windows down , salesman tells me he has to ask if I can sit in it . I didn’t ask to drive it , they sit low to the ground and I have serious orthopedic issues , so the first step was just seeing if I could get in and out easily. Nope , never even got to sit in it , I could have written a check for any car they have on their lot right on the spot , including the tens of thousands over sticker new Corvettes they had. They had a convertible Camaro with the 6.2 Vette engine on the showroom floor that I liked , took it for a test drive , long story short , they wanted five thousand over sticker telling me the cars are in “ heavy “ demand and other dealers are doing it , no they’re the only one I’ve made the mistake of visiting , if they won’t show the sticker on the webpage , you know why.. They have thirty one Camaros listed as in stock the same day , never mentioned that , looking at them right now on the webpage . Not all have the 6.2 L engine , just most of them . It didn’t matter , I was gone as soon as they treated me like xxxx , I wouldn’t xxxx on the place if it was on fire. Not only would I not recommend the place to anyone , it’s dealership’s like this that will be the end of the U.S. auto industry , not the entitled moron CEO’s or the people building the cars , it will be because of xxxxxxxx at dealerships that treat customers like xxxx like at Wahlberg Chevy in Avon .

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car
By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealer that obviously doesn’t want to sell cars . Let’s just say my first and only experience I have had , or will have at any dealership with the Wahlberg name. Can’t believe so many giant xxxxxxxx fit into one building.

Mark Wahlberg Chevy in Avon, Ohio, has shown me time and
Mark Wahlberg Chevy in Avon, Ohio, has shown me time and again that it does not value the experience or satisfaction of its customer’s. Save yourself much time and unnecessary aggravation by shopping at another dealership if your looking to buy a new Chevy vehicle. There are many dealerships that care about you as a customer longer than the day after you leave and spend $65k on a new vehicle. Management lacks professionalism, empathy, and humility. The sales associates don’t follow up as they commit to do. The service department acts as if they are doing you a favor when you bring in your vehicle, as if you don’t have numerous choices among their competitors. Do yourself a huge favor and buy a vehicle elsewhere. Below is the email I sent to the general manager who is still there, approximately two months ago with no response outside of an automated reply to call them and try to resolve the issue. I called today to see if they wanted to earn my business just one more time. I’m still waiting on a call back from “Scott” who stated he would call me back in a few minutes and it is 3pm now and I have not heard from anyone. Rick, I had far from a fantastic experience when I was in to buy a new Chevy Tahoe after I purchased my prior Tahoe from your dealership less than one year ago. I was very interested in building to order a new Tahoe if you didn’t have what I wanted available. No one including yourself seemed to care and wanted to charge me $2500 over the sticker price for the new vehicle that you did have available. Even going as far as unprofessionally “joking” while stating that I got over on the dealership because I didn’t pay over sticker on my last purchase, so on this visit I owed you. How unprofessional of a statement you delivered while exhibiting absolutely no empathy what so ever. I was under the impression my continued business was valued and appreciate more, as I also have brought my vehicle in for all service related needs. I was sadly mistaken. You also informed me the increase in sticker price was the bare minimum charged for good customers. I might add that is a slap in the face to say the least, especially for customers like myself who are working to build an ongoing relationship for mine and my families needs when it should be you working to build a relationship with me. After all, I believe that is the true meaning of world class customer service. Lastly, many Chevy dealers are selling any new Tahoe at $2500 over sticker, or at a “reduced sale” price which is the actual sticker price. Just wanted to respond to this email and sadly say I will be looking to purchase a new Tahoe at another Chevy dealer since I know someone else will take the deal. Yesterday (9-26-2022), I went online and was prequalified for another purchase of a build to order 2023 Chevy Tahoe for Mark Wahlberg Chevy in Avon, Ohio, through GM financial, which is who I have my current loan through with my 2021 Chevy Tahoe. I was told I could not obtain a 2.49% interest rate on a new vehicle even though this is what I have now with GM financial and I would need to go through another lender (Lormet) at around 5%. I’m assuming this is because they get some kind of incentive to push them down the customers throat regardless of what they want. Mind you I have excellent credit which has not changed since the purchase of my first Tahoe from MWC. With this info I called GM financial to find out if keeping my 2.49% on a new vehicle purchase was unrealistic. They told me absolutely not, there is no reason I should expect this rate to go up if my credit score (+825) has not changed (it has not), and they must receive kick backs from the other lender. After calling today to attempt to place an order or atleast get assistance with the process, “Scott” informed me we would need to setup a meeting to see if they could build/order a 2023 Tahoe for me, as it depends on what Chevy will do. I explained that I built what I wanted with the options which were available on Chevy.com for a total of $76k. “Scott” informed me that it wasn’t that easy and stated I would need to come in to the dealership. I told him I would come in and asked if I could call him back. Scott stated he would call me back in a few minutes and I have not heard back. Seems like more dishonesty and aggravation coming my way but it seems to be the Mark Wahlberg Chevy way. I am in shock that no one at MWC wants more of my money and I cannot get a call back or time of day from anyone. World class customer service and post purchase care about your customers is the way to get repeat and referred business. Neither of which anyone here seems to know, nor will you get from me. Thanks for showing me yet again you don’t care about your customers so I can spread the word and help others avoid the worst experience they will ever have on a vehicle which is one of the very few biggest purchases a person will make in their lifetime.

Don’t value repeat customers at all. Disgrace.

Great Buying Experience
We just bought a new Chevy Equinox. Sales Consultant Brian Lilly made the whole shopping experience very comfortable and stress free. We went to several other dealers 1st with no luck finding the car we were looking for. Brian got on the phone and got us the car we wanted and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. We will definitely come back to Mark Walburg Chevy again, and I hope Brian Lilly will be there to assist us in our future purchase. Thank you Brian, for making our buying experience very pleasant! Scott & Elisabeth Z.
