I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Grubbs

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Grubbs Volvo Central Houston, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Where do I even begin with this debacle? First and foremost, the sheer incompetence and lack of communication from this establishment is mind-boggling. It took them over two months to supposedly "fix" my car, and during that agonizing period, they couldn't even be bothered to keep me informed about the progress or lack thereof. Every time I called for an update, it was like pulling teeth to get a straight answer out of them. It's as if they think keeping customers in the dark is an acceptable business practice. But wait, it gets worse. When they finally deemed my car "ready" for pickup, I embarked on a three-hour journey to retrieve it, only to discover that it was still plagued with the same issues I brought it in for. Imagine my frustration when I realized that they hadn't even bothered to test drive it before notifying me to come and collect it. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to threaten me with exorbitant fees if I didn't take the malfunctioning vehicle off their hands immediately. Talk about adding insult to injury! Now, you would think that after such a monumental screw-up, they would at least have the decency to offer a sincere apology. But no, not Grubbs Volvo Central Houston. They were completely unapologetic, brushing off their colossal mistake as if it were nothing more than a minor inconvenience. But wait, it gets even better (or should I say worse?). When I begrudgingly returned to pick up my car for the second time, hoping against hope that they had finally rectified their mistakes, I was greeted with yet another disappointment. Not only were the original issues still present, but they had also managed to leave my car with dangerously low coolant levels. Bravo, Grubbs Volvo Central Houston, bravo. You've truly outdone yourselves. In conclusion, if you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of Grubbs Volvo Central Houston like the plague. Their abysmal service, abject lack of communication, and utter inability to fix a simple car issue have left me with no choice but to take my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache.

Wow.

Wow. Rude, pushy, dishonest, and obvious sales tactics. From the horrible experience with the salesperson (I won’t go into details yet), to the almost laughably bad experience with the “financial manager”, to the useless general “manager” who I shared my horrible experience with after he reached out (then he didn’t respond to any of that or try to make it better)—it’s been like going from the same type of person over and over. I would love to speak with a higher up. Who is running this company? Grubbs—you can do so much better. We bought the car we wanted (we were not sold a vehicle—if anything we wanted to leave several times but wanted a specific vehicle they had on the way—I’d not willingly give this guy the commission), despite the salesperson trying to push the original vehicle I looked at on me (clearly trying to move the floor model—which had quite a bit of damage btw). He flat out made a rude remark about me preferring a different color vehicle (and a higher priced version of the vehicle) because I changed my mind. How dare you, woman? There’s so much more. I’m sure (?) not all the salespeople are this way there. But the finance manager and at least one of the general managers was not helpful at all. And beyond that, they were not good (being careful with my words here). The only good things I’ve experienced was their newly remodeled waiting and sales area. And I’ve had good vehicle service in the past. But if I were you, unless you know the exact vehicle you want to buy and are ok dealing with certain types of individuals (and them getting a commission off of you after maybe even treating you badly and being disrespectful), then I’d go somewhere else to buy your Volvo.

It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have

It was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. The sales people are friendly and the finance manager was great to work with. The dealership building is brand new and the nicest I have ever been to. Everyone was very respectful and professional. I also like the fact that they gave me a fair trade offer off the bat.

I had a great experience buying my car!

I had a great experience buying my car! Brent could not have been better. He made me feel comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares and enjoys what he does. As for the purchasing/financing I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Really couldn’t have asked for much more. The car looked immaculate when I drove it off the lot. Very impressed with Grubbs.
