Why is the customer paying for shop supplies!

My service was fine - but why am I paying for shop supplies. They rotated my tires, what supplies were need. I think that is just another way for the dealer to make more money!

We were greeted immediately upon walking in the front

We were greeted immediately upon walking in the front door. Adam was very informative about our car selections and did not make us feel pressured to purchase today. The entire process was smooth and was handled professionally and efficiently. GREAT experience!!!

I was very pleased.

I was very pleased. I called needing an appointment to service my car. "message on dashboard:"change oil soon" since I am going on a trip next sunday. and was in the area, I need an appointment on that day. They gave me a 2:00 pm appointment. Mike the intake manager was especially understanding and helpful. thanks

Lakeland Buick almost killed my wife and son.

On February 27, 2023, my wife took our 2017 Buick Enclave into Lakeland Buick for a routine oil change. We have done this a number of times before, so nothing unusual. While there, the technicians talked my wife into a standard tire rotation per the manufacturer's suggestion. She agreed even though that was not the original plan. After a few hours, she received her car back and put our infant son in his carseat. As she drove off, she noticed a “helicopter noise” coming from the back driver’s side tire. She immediately turned around before exiting the parking lot and took it back. The technician shrugged and told my wife that this noise was common for rotated tires to make noise, so she reluctantly got back in the car since our son was crying to get home for an overdue nap. The next day, she dropped our 2 older kids off at school and was driving home down CR540 right about Yarborough Lane. She was going approximately 40MPH. All of sudden, the back tire flew off. It hit 2 cars behind her before bouncing down the road about half a mile into a yard. Fortunately, my wife was able to control the car to a stop in the middle turn lane and a Polk County deputy happened to witness the entire accident. The deputy stopped traffic, and was able to ensure that everyone was ok. A copy of the accident report is available online. At that point, once I arrived on scene, we discussed how to fix this. Our insurance, deputies, and our accident attorney all agreed to not take it back to Lakeland Buick another time since they already dismissed my wife once before. They obviously do not stand behind their work. Lakeland Buick almost killed my wife and infant son with their gross negligence in their inability to properly install a tire. Voicemails were left with Lakeland Buick since it’s very difficult to get anyone to talk on the phone. Eventually, once we sorted out the incident with our insurance, we stopped by Lakeland Buick to discuss this in person. The first time, I was told the person to talk would not set up an appointment with me, and I would need to stop in during a certain window of the day. I was finally able to catch Jon Siegel, the Fixed Operations Manager, in person. He quickly moved me out of his office, and refused to have a conversation with me to make it right. Jon noted several things including “I speak for the whole company” and “the only way to make it right was to let us try again.” He invited us to talk to attorneys and refused to escalate this matter to the dealership owner or anyone else in charge. Jon dismissed me, and refused to discuss the matter further. He was a bully, condescending, and hid behind the claim “we have attorneys too.” Lakeland Buick has made it clear what type of dealership it is through its people like Jon and its dangerous workmanship that almost killed my wife and infant son. They are unable to install a tire on a car, and they refuse to make any right and deny all claims. If you go here knowing what you know now, it’s on you. They do not have the integrity to make things right, and they will treat you as less than a person. I hope this review will save other lives in the future. If you work at Lakeland Buick and you’re one of the good people, I hope you get out and away from the “Jon’s” of the world. Life is too short to work with leadership like that. I hope this post gives you courage to get out.

We had a terrible experience with this dealership, they

We had a terrible experience with this dealership, they flat out lied to us about an vehicle on their website and attempted a "bait and switch" while we were there. A manager reached out via email a couple days later, after responding to him about our experience, we heard nothing back. I wouldn't give them my business.
