I needed my 2022 Chev 2500HD oil and filter changed.

I needed my 2022 Chev 2500HD oil and filter changed. I wanted to give my local dealer an opportunity to perform this service form me. The lady at the service desk was extremely helpful and nice. No complaints with her at all. As I was waiting for my truck to be serviced, I walked around the showroom for 10 to 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged was there. Yes, I was getting service done but I could have very easily been in the market for another vehicle. Dennon Dearman saw me and came to talk to me. He was actually with someone, but he took a second to see if I needed anything and we had a great conversation. After all selling cars is a relationship. Once my truck was completed in the back, The nice lady came and informed me. I then proceeded to pay for my service, she told me my bill was 208.00, I was shocked. I asked her was there a mistake I only wanted a oil and filter change. She said no that was the price. I told her that was extremely high because I knew I could have gotten the exact same service up the road much less expensive. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I do not blame her at all. I have in the past attempted to buy numerous vehicles from my hometown dealership. I have purchased in the past 24 months 300 thousand dollars' worth of vehicles from other dealerships. I have also purchased parts, and they too are extremely higher the Chevrolet app does a price comparison and Walt Wasey in Columbia is the highest, I want to shop local I believe in shopping local, but I am also price conscious. I understand you need to make money but not off one customer. I own 3 Jeeps, 2 Chevrolet and other vehicles and I would have loved to purchased them from Columbia. IT COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY!

I went in for my 2nd oil change on a Saturday! Returning home I noticed sounds that I had not heard in the 1 year plus 3 months I have had my Tahoe... grinding, wrenching, growling sounds. I pulled over onto the shoulder and called my son to meet me on Hwy 35/LA 21 South. We discovered that all of my lugs were loose and dangling--which I took pictures of and shared with the Service Dept! Thank God they had NOT come off; I could have been KILLED! I called the Service Department Monday and cursed EVERYONE OUT! I also shared that I would be at the DEALERSHIP before closing and I expected to see the persons who were there on my service date! I showed pictures of the loosened lug nuts--No one took responsibility for what happened; everyone was apologetic; and I am still upset and disappointed about how this could happen!--TOO many NEW people who apparently DO NOT know what they are doing--a 50K+ vehicle with a $900 note!! The dealership gave me a wash job, half a tank of gas---I keep a half tank, and a fresh pot of coffee! My TRUST has been lost as I came from Louisiana to Mississippi to purchase my Tahoe, my graduation gift to myself after I had went to the ordeal of being unsuccessful to find a truck during the Pandemic. I have NOT heard from ANYONE in MANAGEMENT. I am seriously thinking of trading in! One disappointed Customer, Cherylon E. Lewis Angie, Louisiana

It's nice to know that there are still dealerships that

It's nice to know that there are still dealerships that respect and value their customers. I purchased a 2022 Bolt EUV yesterday for my wife from Walt Massey Chevrolet and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. My salesman, Greg Ogden, went out of his way to make sure my car was ready to get me home (it to be charged after being unloaded from the truck), sent me constant updates, and made sure everything went to plan when I arrived. Dennon Dearmon made sure I paid the price I had agreed to beforehand, I was given the trade value we had agreed to beforehand, and there were no last minute add-ons or surprises. I had to make a 5 hour round trip to buy from Walt Massey and I would do it again. After dealing with scummy dealerships in the New Orleans area (I'm looking at you, Leson Chevrolet and Best Chevrolet), Walt Massey was a breath of fresh air. Thank you!
