One of the more annoying days I'll spend buying and selling a car. A throwback to shadeunfreud and shell games for no apparent gain at all. Sorry, but a game of losers trying to gain a buck or two from customers. Pathetic and obvious. Especially silly gamesmanship from the finance manager. Laughable.

I was met by Andrew at the service area. He was very polite and helpful as i was dropping off my vehicle for a new windshield & recall. He was informative and made my experience extremely easy. I would recommend my friends to go there due to his professionalism.

Everyone was friendly.
Everyone was friendly. The waiting area was comfortable offering both hot and cold beverages. The wait was reasonable and was consistent with estimated time I was given by my service advisor.

The video tape of the undercarriage showing the actual condition of the front tie rods is the best way to sell the necessary service. It was explained to me by my typical mechanic, but the video that the BMW service member provided was priceless

It was not a positive experience.
It was not a positive experience. I dropped my X-5 off on Saturday morning for a standard oil change and two recall upgrades. I was told that there was a good chance that the car would be finished that day but if not it would be done first thing on Monday morning. Sure enough the car was not done on that Saturday (the recall parts had not arrived), which is fine. The issue is that Monday came and went with no word from the dealer until I called and inquired about the status late in the afternoon. At that point it was determined that the parts had still not arrived and would most likely show up on Tuesday. I did get my car on Tuesday and the recall upgrades were complete. Couple issues: 1. The lack of communication on Monday after I was told the car would be finished first thing that morning. 2. I was issued an X-3 as loaner car ( I would think I would get a comparable if not newer X-5) to try to retain/continue my relationship with the dealership. 3. Even after being without my car for 3 days, the car was not cleaned or washed in any form. I am struggling to get my arms around the fact that this is a BMW dealership and not a Honda dealership but maybe my standards are misguided. Thanks
