Took truck in to have Tstat replaced and ac fixed.
Took truck in to have Tstat replaced and ac fixed. There was a diagnostic fee for ac, fine. They come out and tell me ac is bad and stat is good. $300 later, stat is still bad and you had no time to fix ac that day but still charged $300 for diagnostic. Thanks for charging me $300 to waste my time

The service was fine.
The service was fine. I was just not happy with the extreme service charge to use a credit card. With the high charges on auto fixes, it seems steep to pay that kind of finance charge and most people do not have enough in a debit card account to cover those types of expenses. Not very customer friendly.

I purchased a used minivan from Portage Ford last summer.
I purchased a used minivan from Portage Ford last summer. I looked at the van a few times and made an offer which they rejected. A few days later the same van was advertised online for less than I had offered so I called and told them I would like to purchase it for their new advertised price. They refused to honor the price stating that it was a mistake but eventually agreed to sell it to me for my previous offer (more than $1000 over the advertised price). An additional $1000+ later of taxes and "fees they couldn't waive" and I drove it home. It sat in my paved driveway for about a months and then was used lightly for a couple weeks and then a couple weekends of highway travel (this is a 2nd vehicle AND I work from home). I took it in for its first oil change 1 month before the dealer service sticker said it was needed because I was going on a long distance trip. Because I live over an hour from the dealership I brought it to my regular mechanic whom I have been using for 8 years. Imagine my surprise that my rear brakes were making that squeaking sound and they were going to have to be completely replaced! The dealership had made a big deal about buying from them because they only sell sound vehicles. I contacted my salesman to ask if I brought it to them to do the work would they give me a deal? He said he didn't think so because I bought it used but he transfered me to service. Service said no excuse I bought it used. So I took it back to my regular mechanic and paid another $1200 to have my rear brakes replaced and sent the photos to my salesman. He then actually had the nerve to tell me I should have brought it back to them and they would have helped me out. Either this place doesn't care about ripping people off and selling them faulty vehicles or they don't know what they are doing. Either way I would recommend you do NOT buy a vehicle here

Made deal for truck than was told the parking brake
Made deal for truck than was told the parking brake didn’t work, than when signing papers was told there was only one key fob for truck. You would think they would sell me one for cost but no they tried to stick to me for 396 dallors. Now I see the light I the truck box doesn’t work and no owners manual.Who ever checks there vehicles over has no clue what they are doing. Will be last vehicle I will buy from there. Should not have given it 3 stars but salesman was really nice.
