If I could give zero stars, I would.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I initially called Genesis of Kirkland about a GV70 they had on the lot. I was told Dylan, the sales manager, would get back to me. He never did. A week later, I followed up and was passed off to Erik, who promised to work up numbers and financing options. I had already secured pre-approvals from two other places, but I gave them a shot to earn my business. Again — no follow-up. After another week of silence, I reached out again and was told (falsely) that I had informed them I’d bought another car and was no longer interested — completely untrue. Eventually, I received numbers and decided to proceed with the purchase. I flew in to Kirkland, signed all the paperwork, paid a $10,000 down payment, and was told the rest would be handled — plates mailed, paperwork sent, financing submitted. I drove off thinking the deal was done. Fast forward 45+ days, and I had received: • No license plates • No paperwork • No contact from the bank When I called the credit union, they couldn’t even find me in their system. After some digging, they located a paper file — meaning nothing had been submitted electronically. The bank told me they’d been trying to get the dealership to respond for two weeks — with no luck. So now I’m the one being asked to put pressure on the dealer. Once I did, the dealership finally sent me the credit application — weeks after I bought the car. I signed and returned it promptly. Then, 10 days later, I got a call saying I had one hour to sign it again or the deal would fall through. No explanation. No accountability. To make matters worse: • I was told multiple times my plates were being overnighted. They weren’t. I returned home to Kentucky — no plates. They outright lied. • I was also told they had heard from the bank and that the loan was now complete. That appears to be yet another falsehood, as I’ve received zero confirmation from the bank — no documents, no welcome letter, nothing. My temporary tags have now expired, and I can’t legally drive the vehicle. So now I’m either Ubering to work or gambling that I won’t be pulled over — all because Genesis of Kirkland couldn’t do the most basic part of their job. I’ve bought, sold, and leased over 30 cars in my life. I’m nearly 60 years old and have never experienced a dealership this disorganized, unprofessional, and outright shady. Whether this is incompetence or willful deception, it’s unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: AVOID Genesis of Kirkland. They are not worth the time, the stress, or the risk.

I have not decided on a car, so I was just looking at what cars were available. The salesperson was not pushy. He said he was available to help me find a car when I was ready.

Sad excuse for a "premium" car brand.
Sad excuse for a "premium" car brand. First off, I drove to the garage door and it did not get opened for me to pull inside for my appointment. Had to find a spot and park then come to the side door. Upon waiting and trying to get someone's attention - there were 3 men that just looked at me - no response, they just kept playing on their phones and chatting with each other. Mike in the first office finally said just a minute - he was on the phone. I am not sure he would have said that had I not stuck my head into his office. I told him I was there for my appointment - He then told me that the person who could fix one of my issues was off due to personal reasons. I looked at him and asked if I could at least get a key made/programmed. He said yes -it'll take a hour or two. I said I'll wait. Mind you that I had travelled almost 2 hours to have 3 issues fixed. So, I went and sat and waited. I asked after a hour or so is there not anyone else that can check the "modem" on the car ? Or altleast do a hard reset of the whole system? I really didn't care if I lost person settings if the car got fixed. Mike went and asked - 1 of the techs had performed a reset before so the Tech was going to try doing a reset. I thanked Mike for checking. So, all this time I am seeing workers with their no in their phones - I see next to no one working on vehicles in the shop bays - you can see from the lounge area. I also see a couple customers come in - not greeted but slowly waited on. Mike finally comes and says car is done. He gives me a reciept for the work - I about gasped at the $$$ - It was over $700. This was for programming a keyfob - which I supplied. Also for trying to reset the modem for Connected Services - which is necessary for some of the functions of the car. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARRANTY COVERAGE My car is a couple years old and had less than 6k miles - was a certified used to boot. Be careful if you use this dealer - They also charged for shop supplies - $80. What shop supplies ?? The tech pressed 2 buttons to do a reset and programmed a key that I supplied -- Where or what supplies to do those things cost $80 - Let alone the scam of charging over $325 for pushing the "setup and map" buttons to try and reset the infotainment system - again should have been under warranty. Genesis may be a luxury brand but, this service center does not make you feel like it. They need to do away with their little private offices and get off their personal phones and the computer - pay attention to the customers that are giving you business. BTW - they do have a blurp on their paperwork about shop supplies charge - not to exceed $50...yet they charged $80... I am not sure why you would go to a business who takes advantage of their customers with extra charges.

I recently had a terrible experience at Genesis of
I recently had a terrible experience at Genesis of Kirkland that I feel compelled to share. I simply wanted to get an oil change for my GV80, but the ordeal turned into a nightmare. First, I had to wait a ridiculous seven weeks just to get an appointment. When I finally booked it, I was told the service would take 60-90 minutes, and I agreed to wait there. However, when I arrived, it was clear they had scheduled too many people at the same time. Despite initially telling me it would be 90 minutes, they quickly changed the estimate to 2.5 to 3 hours. They offered a complimentary car wash but strongly discouraged it because it would add another 60-90 minutes, so I declined. After waiting 3.5 hours for just an oil change, I was hit with an outrageous bill. They charged a hefty shop fee on top of an already overpriced service, and then added another surcharge for using a credit card. The total came out to nearly $400 for an oil change, and this was after I declined all additional services. No discount was offered despite the excessive delays. To make matters worse, the building was in terrible condition—nothing like what you'd expect from a luxury brand. The ceiling had water and mold stains, there were holes in it, and the overall facility was old and poorly maintained. They tried to sell me on their new store being better once it's completed, but based on this experience, I will never return. Genesis of Kirkland, you should be ashamed of this level of service. If you value your time, money, and experience, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Refused to negotiate on a used car priced over book that
Refused to negotiate on a used car priced over book that had been there for several months so we went to another sister dealership to look at a competitors car (Meccan turbo vs Stelvio quadrifoglio) and the saleswoman was super nice and had the car transferred. Genesis of Kirkland refused to bring the second key and we still don’t have it a week after purchasing the vehicle. Would not recommend. Extremely petty and greedy.
