I have been purchasing or leasing vehicles for 35 years
I have been purchasing or leasing vehicles for 35 years and will be purchasing from Gettel for the next 35 years! 4 yrs ago I purchased a GV70 from Gettel and had a wonderful experience both from a sales aspect as well as servicing the vehicle for 4 yrs. All of that is what brought me back to purchase a 2025 GV70 a few days ago. I decided to go from my advanced package and bought a 2.5T sports prestige. After driving it 24 hours, I knew I was unhappy. I immediately called Lucio and told him I wanted to return the car for a GV70 2.5T advanced package. He called me back (he was off that day!) That is when even more magic happened. They not only honored their 3 day buyers exchange program, they made sure I got my #1 choice of color even though they didn’t have it in stock. Dean, Raphael and Lucio literally moved heaven and earth to find the exact vehicle I wanted…going all the way to Miami! Even Steven in finance made unwinding and winding of the paperwork, etc a very easy experience. Honestly, if you are looking to purchase or lease a Genesis, make the first best decision for yourself and go to Gettel of SARASOTA…even if you live in Lakewood Ranch…go to Genesis Sarasota. I have had many positive and negative buying experiences at dealerships over the last 35 years, but never have I had one so authentic than at Genesis Sarasota, even after I wanted to exchange the new GV70 for a different package after driving it for a day! The icing on the cake was they never gave up and found the color combination that was my first choice and I wanted 4 years ago, but wasn’t available. Now I can’t wait to have this vehicle serviced at their new location this summer! I can’t thank Dean, Raphael, Lucio and Steven enough!!

Ryan had a service car ready, since our car was going to
Ryan had a service car ready, since our car was going to take a couple of days to complete. I'm still getting used to the text communication method with Gettel, but it was very effective in keeping us up to date on when our car was going to be ready. Painless couple of days and our car came back clean and road ready. Staff are all friendly and efficient at taking care of both our air-conditioning repair and the recall items that needed addressed from earlier this year.

I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH RYAN, HE WAS OK.
I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH RYAN, HE WAS OK. PROBLEM IS, HIS HANDS ARE TIED. THEY'RE SO BACKED UP THAT IT TOOK AND ENTIRE WEEK FOR THEM TO EVEN DIAGNOSE MY CAR AND THAT IS UNEXCEPTABLE. HOWEVER, THEY DID DELIVER IT AND PICKED UP MY LOANER. OTHER THAN THAT I THINK THEY'LL BE OK ONCE THEY GET SEPARATED FROM HYUNDAI.

I have called the service department numerous times and
I have called the service department numerous times and have never been able to get through to anyone. I don’t think there are service reps working in that department. As of now because of my experience with service department I wouldn’t recommend dealership.
