Professional, courteous, went over and above.

Professional, courteous, went over and above. My husband and I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The salesperson and finance manager were both kind and professional. We were offered to buy service plans and when we declined, we were not pressured in a manner that would be considered unacceptable. Dealership is smaller than the other local dealerships, but the customer service is phenomenal. The had the exact vehicle we were looking for and offered at an excellent price. The online pricing was the same as advertised. We have several MOPARs and bring all of our vehicles to this dealership for service. Cody in the service department is very knowledgeable and courteous. He is always willing to go above and beyond. My experience with dealership was excellent.

Despite my efforts to negotiate a deal, they just kept asking me to come in. I live 2 hours away and have negotiated deals effortlessly before. I asked them to call and I got no response. I guess their sales approach is, “come just fall in love with the puppy.”

I have purchased a lot of vehicles from Crown Dodge but

I have purchased a lot of vehicles from Crown Dodge but with the new ownership I will never walk on the lot again. This owner put a shaft to me as I wrote a check to hold the vehicle, (his idea) and he was going to hold it until I sold my truck and the agreement was to hold it for 10 days. He deposited the check the next day and my bank account was locked and the finance person or salesman didn't know what happened or how it happened until the finance manager realized the owner had taken my check and deposited without notifying anyone. It got worse as I had to get an attorney to straighten it out because I refused to purchase the vehicle but the new finance company was told the sale was complete so I was in trouble there as well and this ordeal took about 5 days and the truck looked like it had come through a demolition derby by the time I got it and I had to pay $800 to get the dents out and spot paint it. I am still considering a law suit. The sales per and finance person both left the company

July 26, 2023 Zero stars but had to give one in order to

July 26, 2023 Zero stars but had to give one in order to post. This used to be a good Jeep dealership. I purchased my last two vehicles from this dealership. I also bought a prepaid oil change and tire rotation plan 3 years ago. Every time I've used it there has been a problem. The problems have ranged from being unable to get the service department on the phone to schedule ( I once had to drive over from the next city to the west as they were not answering or returning calls, and when I finally was able to speak to someone I was told I would have drive back the next day to receive the service), to one occasion where I was given the oil change but the tires were not rotated. When I asked why, I was informed that while the package I purchased included a tire rotation, I had not specifically asked for one. Yesterday, my car was shutting down at lights, leaving me stranded until I could get it going again, and the battery kept dying when the vehicle was shut off for a while. I drove to the dealership, and told the individual at the service desk what was going on, to which he replied "that sounds weird" and stared blankly at me until I got aggravated and left. Off course I wound up getting stuck at a light on the way home until I turned my engine off and restarted it. Today when I went for the oil change and rotation, I again asked that it be checked. When I was told what the problem was ( 2 dead batteries ) I was told it would cost over 700 dollars to fix ( over half being labor). I declined to pay and the service person told me they would finish up and get me out. When I checked out I was billed 53 dollars, which I questioned and the service desk person stated it was for evaluating the batteries, adding something about being sorry they don't work for free. I stated that I came yesterday with what I considered a safety issue, and was greeted with a blank stare. He replied that I was refusing the repair today, and it would have been the same yesterday. I asked the lady who took my payment to speak to the dealership or sales manager, and was told they had both taken today off. This dealership has lost my business. I will drive to a dealership in another city before I return to Crown. Also as I drove home, I pulled up the tire pressure screen, all tires were at least 3 lbs lower than recommended pressure. No one had checked and aired them up

South of I-10 and South of high prices is their tag line

South of I-10 and South of high prices is their tag line and it's true! Small town family feel and they support and give back in the community. I didn't feel pressured to buy.

Illegal lending practices- verify APR with bank

Recently purchased a vehicle (3/17/2022)from Crown Chrysler dodge Jeep fiat in Pascagoula Ms. The finance manager (Shemuel McCraney) told me that they do not mark up loans from the bank, the loan they quote is coming straight from the bank. After I purchased the truck, I called the bank (Bank of America)and found out that the bank quoted 2.99% and the dealership marked it up and sold it to me at 4.99%. After I confronted the manager (Stan Crawford) about this, they said they would cancel the loan since it wasn’t funded yet. The next day Stan called back and said the loan was funded and there was nothing he can do. I called the bank and they said that was not the case and the dealer can still cancel the loan. No matter how you make a deal with these guys, it is not open and they will get it back from you some way. If you still plan to buy from them, contact your bank directly but do not do this until after you have agreed upon the price and after they quote you your APR. The fraudulent and unfair lending practice of lying about marking up interest rates to make $300-400 at the expense of the consumer in the amount of $5000 is criminal. They need to be held accountable.
