Sold me a car with a zip tie holding the thermostat
Sold me a car with a zip tie holding the thermostat together, hiding a coolant leak. I took the car in for warrenty work. Had the car 2 months and not touched it. Then told me to pick it up because I left a review. Do yourself a favor and look past the "5 star reviews" and you will see the truth.

I bought a Toyota RAV4 2015 last month (January 2025)
I bought a Toyota RAV4 2015 last month (January 2025) when the temperature was cold, so I checked AC and I thought is good. The tires air sensor was also showing ON but I thought it was just because it needed some air. However, the next day after putting air in all the tires it still showing on, so obviously it is a bad sensor. However, the real issues was the AC. Since it was winter I didn’t’ really used the AC until yesterday, Feb 2nd when I checked the AC and it wouldn’t work, even the fan wouldn’t move. I have no idea if it is a simple relay/fuse problem or a compressor issue. I called DriveSimple and a guy called Jake replied to me. I explained everything to him and told him this is the first time I tried using the AC since I bought it and drove to work at New Mexico the next day where temperature was around 40 to 50 for last three weeks so I didn’t have to use the AC. He said he will check my file and call me back. Half an hour later he called saying that he can send me to a local shop so they can check AC but I have to pay the diagnostic fee. I told him this is something that they should honor because if it was summertime I would immediately find out if AC is bad and will not buy the car. He said that you didn’t buy a warrantee and you negotiated a discount but I told that has nothing to do with selling a car with a bad AC. Long story short he wouldn’t honor anything and when I told him if they don’t honor this and fix the AC I will have to write my honest review for this experience his tone changed and he started saying things like “you are acting as a child and you should buy a warrantee” and I had to end the conversation. When I tried to call back, they blocked my number. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. If anything happens the minute you leave their lot, they WILL NOT stand behind it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Very nice guys.
Very nice guys. I just wish I was told that the car I was approved for was sold. I understand it's first come first serve basis. Just call your customers and let them know. Hey, the vehicle you were approved for someone is here and is interested in purchasing it or even at a minimum tell them it was just sold. We had been texting all morning about the vehicle and not once was I told anything. I texted again in the afternoon and didn't get a response so I decided to call, still didn't get an answer. Finally, I believe the manager called me back or did i call again and get an answer? I dont recall, but once I got in touch with someone is when I was told that's the gentleman helping me had left on vacation and that the vehicle had been sold. I was shocked, confused and extremely disappointed. I couldn't believe that know one gave me the common courtesy to tell me. Were they just going to wait until I got there to tell me? I was pretty upset. However, there was another vehicle that I was interested in that the manager did offer me a 3 month warranty on it because of their lack of communication. By this point I was completely fustersted and decided to go with another dealership. Unfortunately, they lost a customer. One word of advice, communicate with your customers. Communication is so important.

Bought a 2011 Ford Explorer back in September 2023. Could not even take the car home for close to a month, part was not in yet. My payment was due November 6, 2023. I was two weeks late on my payment. I was finally able to take my car in to get fixed. Take my son to get back breakfast to come back and be told my belongings were in boxes and they repo'ed the car. They said "sorry we are really busy, you need to arrange for a ride home". I called Westlake Finacial to be told that it was up to the dealership. Dealership told me there was nothing they could do. Mind you, they put the ad back on their website for the 2011 Ford Explorer a day later. I thought the bank repo'ed it, not the dealership? Out $1,300 for a down payment, could not even drive the car, like I said for a month due to mechanical issues. Scam artists.

Slimey Tactics - The Worst of the Worst
Unfortunately, DriveSimple conducts manner in the slimy, shady, misleading manner which everyone fears and gives good dealers a bad name. I requested that my salesperson, Dylan, send photographs of damage of the car I purchased prior to agreeing to a deal. He complied and sent 10 photographs during which, he assured me that he was straightforward and honest. We came to terms, I wired funds, and the car was delivered to me. Upon delivery, I noticed a large dent in the front fender (which was undisclosed), an other dent on the driver side door (also undisclosed), another dent and scratch on the driver side, rear quarter panel (undisclosed of course), a large hold poked in the rear bumper cover (you guess it, undisclosed), and paint missing from two separate fenders (yep, undisclosed as well). Once I spoke to the manager, he assured me that I got a great deal and many people wanted the car, but oddly enough, despite that claim, he wouldn't take the car back despite that fact it hadn't been driven at all and I'd pay for shipping. Naturally, in the course of this conversation, Jacob assured me that they don't try to trick people (he said that no less than six times), they're straight forward (which he repeated several times), and that I got a great deal. This tells me that their lies and misrepresentations are common, rehearsed, often repeated, and orchestrated amongst the staff. BUYER BEWARE!

Great car buying experience. Had the car several months now and nothing could've been better! Runs smooth. People are friendly. Good payment options. Financing available. One of the best deals in town. Only thing is everybody in the area knows they have great deals-so it was packed with people.
