Our only constructive feedback is that new buyers are always provided, by the dealership, with two keys to their used vehicle, as some of the used cars have only one. It was my first time shopping for a newer car that I would have to finance and all of that (real adult things) and Brian was the perfect person for me to have met and to have help me in this journey! I waited a few months to leave this review on purpose.

I waited a few months to leave this review on purpose. After buying the car I felt like I was an annoyance to the sales team here: I bought a used Volkswagen from Echo Park at the end of July. After finally getting the car home (an hour away) thoroughly checked the car over, oil fluids (I did check the oil when the engine was hot, which would normally read a little low in a hot engine) and even replaced all the filters and lights. Then the check engine light came on after my first drive (I trailered the car home). I called Echo Park to ask what to do since the car was under the 250-mile warranty out the door. They said they had a loaner car that I could use, so I drove the hour back to drop off my car. The next day I got my car back, and my salesperson even drove out to bring the car to me. However, the next day, the check engine light came back on. So, another hour drive each way to bring the car back. After driving the car for a month the “SHUT ENGINE OFF” and OIL pressure alert came on. The check engine light also came on. I got the car home and immediately brought it to a local shop to have it checked out. After hooking the car up they discovered the car had only about 1 quart of oil in it. No leaks. They concluded who ever had changed the oil last had only put 1 quart in. So I basically drove the car for a month on one quart of oil. I missed the low oil, assuming that the engine was just hot when I checked it. Also going on faith that the 190-point inspection from Echo Park would have included an oil check or a fresh oil change. Yes, it’s a high mileage car, but this could have seized up the engine and possibly caused an accident. Pretty sure I wont deal with Echo Park again. I feel like after selling me the car they didn’t value my business or take me very seriously.
