A Cautionary Tale for Anyone Considering a Purchase from LaFontaine Unfortunately, LaFontaine does not stand by their used vehicles, and General Manager Jason Fox demonstrates a concerning lack of customer service and accountability. If you choose to purchase a used car from them, be prepared to bring $3,000 in cash for their extended warranty—because without it, they will take no responsibility for the condition of the vehicle they sell you. My boyfriend purchased a 2019 Ford Flex from LaFontaine just seven months ago. Within the first three days, water started flooding through the firewall after a routine car wash. 3 days ago, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic engine failure when the timing chain failed, despite having the vehicle 7 months and putting only 15,000 miles in full synthetic oil (just as the third oil change since he purchased it was due). After having the Flex towed back to LaFontaine, we were quoted $11,000 for an engine replacement. More than what's owed on the vehicle! While he’s kicking himself in the butt for not purchasing the extended warranty, you would still hope that a "reputable franchise dealership" would stand by their service inspections before reselling a used vehicle. Seeking some level of accountability, we spoke with GM Jason Fox, requesting they cover part or all of the labor costs. His response? He simultaneously claimed that engine failures like this "hardly ever happen" while also arguing that covering such issues would put the dealership out of business—an unsettling contradiction. When I pointed this out, he became visibly agitated, dismissing our concerns rather than addressing them professionally. This experience has made it clear that LaFontaine is not committed to customer satisfaction or vehicle reliability. Buyers beware—without their expensive extended warranty, you’re on your own.

I have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location in the

I have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location in the past but the business was under another name, with no issues. I purchased a used Buick and was told by the sales person that the second key would have to come from the dealership that they ship the vehicle from. I waited over two weeks and then was told not all vehicles come from a second key. The sales manager said I could buy one at cost around $200. Really? Also when I was signing at delivery I questioned a charge of $895.00 for ceramic coat Which I was told that was put on every car. It sounded as though it was something they coated the car with sound l and was a nonnegotiable charged paint and fabric protection. Which when I questioned the sales manager about at the same time I questioned the key situation he told me that the ceramic protection was a warranty because we live in an area of ?fallout?. Still non negotiable. I hope this will help other buyers to make a truly informed decision on their next car purchase.

Service staff are great.

Service staff are great. Very knowledgeable and willing to help you. Excellent team work among the service team. Service work gets done within a reasonable time frame. They will even pick up your vehicle or drive you home.

We purchased a pre-owned 2014 ford fiesta.

We purchased a pre-owned 2014 ford fiesta. While driving home, we realized the radio and entire panel was not working. We were told we had 30 days to bring it back with any problems. Unfortunately, OUR problem was not one of the “problems” that was covered by the 30 days. They said it would be an additional $1,000 to put in a new panel. What a terrible way to run a business! If they had 0 stars, that’s what I would choose.

Great experience.

Great experience... I worked with Sawyer for a couple days, through text, before I decided to come and purchase my vehicle. He was there with me all the way and made sure I knew, or pretty much understood everything that's going on with the car. Very friendly dealership. I will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good deal on a good car.

First new car I have bought in over 25 years and the whole experience was excellent. The salesman was so patient and helpful from start to finish. The color I wanted was not on there lot, but he got me one in less than a week and went through all the features with me, even hooking my phone to the car. When your my age it's difficult to do all the technology. Have told many about my wonderful experience.

Collin is a awesome salesman

Made a purchase and trade in without going to the dealership was able to do it over the phone and everything was ready when my wife picked up the new vehicle. Very honest and straight forward dealership.
