Duane made truck shopping painless

2010 Honda Accord from Duane

I live in Wooster. I went to countless dealerships in the immediate area and I not only couldn’t find a car I loved, I almost felt like the sales teams I was working with didn’t care about my experience at all. I wasn’t in the market for a brand new car but I was looking to spend $12,000-15,000. To me that’s still a lot of money. I wasn’t asking for things I knew I couldn’t afford. So after being disappointed after leaving every dealership I expanded my search. I stopped in at Waikem after looking online. At first I was disappointed because the car I chatted about was already sold. Needless to say, Duane apologized and moved the focus to what they did have for me to look at. There was multiple accords in my price range. After looking I still didn’t love any. He told me about one that they were taking in on a trade but it wasn’t going to be at the dealership until Friday morning. I asked if he would send me pictures and a discription once the car got there. First thing Friday morning I had a text message from a number that wasn’t in my phone book. It was Duane with multiple pictures of the car. I work the weekend shift so I wasn’t able to see it in person until Monday. He said he would let me know if it sold over the weekend. Saturday evening he let me know it was still available. I made the trip to Canton to check the car out Monday morning. The service team still had things to do before the car could be sold but he made sure they had it put back together for a test drive. I was able to drive the car to Orrville to have a friend inspect the vehicle for my own peace of mind. After coming back we sat down to talk numbers. It was a high pressure talk. He wanted to make sure I had all my questions answered because I had never purched from a dealership. We ended up agreeing on a number I felt comfortable with. Since it still had to be finished up in the service area Duane stayed in touch with me to keep me posted on how the car was coming along and when I would be able to pick it up. They had the car ready by the time promised. After arriving to pick up the car he went over it with me again and one of the sales managers even came out to talk about the purchase with me. I’ve waited a week to write this review to make sure I didn’t have any buyers remorse and I’m still happy as can be. My family now has a very dependable and stylish car for years to come. Thanks again Duane for all your help!

Duane Carnathan made our buying experience the best.

We had already decided on a CR-V, but was shopping for a dealer. Had expected to find one closer to home, but Duane made us realize that closer is not necessarily better. Knowledge of the car, it's features and operation just flowed out. I so enjoyed my talking with him, I realized we were buying more than a car and it was going be worth it. The day after taking delivery we went to Rhode Island for a week. Then upon returning we had the TST Protection Package installed. We love the car, it's operation, ride and features. Duane made sure that our dealer experience would be top notch as well.

Great Car Buying Experience

While car shopping at Waikem, we were greeted by Duane Carnathan. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We test drove several cars and Duane answered all of our questions and explained the features of each car. We finally chose a Honda Accord and he gave us a great deal on it. Thanks Duane!

"GReat experience buying our first Honda CRV"

We went over to Waikem Honda to try out a Honda CRV. We were greeted by Duane Carnathan who was very personable, knowledgeable, helpful and understanding as to what we were looking. After our great experience with Duane we sent our son to him as he was also looking for a newer Honda. Doug M

Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Love my new Honda CRV

We stopped by Waikem Honda just to look at the new CRV & ended up purchasing one that same day. Duane was a great source of information & patiently demonstrating all the new features. Chad worked well with us to close the deal. All in all they made a great team.

Excellent Service

I was in need of a new car and I was thrilled with the help I received from Waikem. My sales associate Cory Durbin did a phenomenal job is assessing my needs and doing everything he could to make sure I got the car I wanted. I am thrilled with my purpose and I will definitely be returning to see him again the next time I need a new vehicle. Both Cory and Waikem are highly recommended in my book.
