I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at the Honda dealership in Palmdale, CA. I brought my car in back in September 2023 for transmission issues, and despite there being a known service bulletin about a faulty torque converter, no one mentioned it. I was told to just change the transmission fluid. Less than a year later, I was back with the same problem—this time with a transmission warning light. After researching and seeing that many other Honda owners had similar issues tied to the torque converter, I requested that they look into it. Instead, the service rep, Raul, immediately blamed my personal mechanic and dismissed my concerns. I had to push just to get the torque converter and software update checked. After waiting all day with no update (I had to call them myself), I was told I might need a whole new transmission. Only after insisting did they run further diagnostics and confirm the torque converter was the issue. That delay left me without a car for almost a week. I asked for a loaner because I’m a single mother of four and cannot afford to miss work or have my kids miss school. I was denied a loaner simply because I don’t have a full service history with Honda—even though this is my first Honda. I chose Honda for its reputation for reliability, but this experience has been nothing short of stressful and disappointing. I’ve lost time, money, and trust in the brand. I had considered buying the new Prologue, but now I’m seriously looking into switching to another brand entirely. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a dealership. I hope Honda takes this kind of feedback seriously because customers shouldn’t have to fight to be heard.

Brought my Honda in this dealership by a toe truck for a
Brought my Honda in this dealership by a toe truck for a no start with the fobs ended up, towing my car out with a no run. The dealership did so many unauthorized things to my vehicle did not give me paperwork in the end that claimed everything they did like switch my spark plugs to put three different sizes in. Didn’t have my parts when I got there and could explain to me why all the things were done in my car that shouldn’t have been except for the recall of the fuel pump and then they told me it was contaminated after that, so why would I not get another one put in anyway the service department is the worst here I do not recommend bringing your vehicle there because if you’re somebody that they think they can scam they’re gonna pull it all the way they try to charge me $10,000 for a new engine but doesn’t even know why my engine wouldn’t start.

At first they are nice to you There service department is so bad that there booking online is the same as there store they change or constant there system is down and when you they don't pick up the phone and they don't call bad, it's very frustrating, Terrible service

Robertsons Palmdale Honda dealer salesperson and managers
Robertsons Palmdale Honda dealer salesperson and managers Can’t be trusted, they tricked us. We test drive a vehicle and Informed the salesperson Jose, that we had a car to trade in but we would go home And return. He asked us to come inside told us that we should start filling out application, never once said it was to run our credit report!! We went home and approx 1 hour later returned only to find out that the vehicle we were interested in and test drove, completed application for, was already being sold to someone else. Mark, the original salesperson that called us to let us know that there was a vehicle we were interested in available, is the one who told us that it was already being sold but that they could trade another one of their vehicles to another dealer to get the same vehicle we wanted!!! So unprofessional! The manager Joey came outside but did not do anything to fix the situation!!! Needless to say we purchased 3 of our vehicles at Robertsons Palmdale Honda in the past and took our vehicles for oil change, this dealer lost a customer! I would not recommend them to anyone! Dishonest!

Avoid this place at all cost! Sales guy Jose is the absolute worst! You can tell he doesn’t like his job and doesn’t wanna sell anything. Came in by myself to look at new cars and was told I would not qualify, without knowing anything about me! When I asked him what i could do if I wanted a car in a color they didn’t have in stock he said “go to a different dealer”. TRASH TRASH TRASH!!!save yourself the time and go elsewhere!

All these other reviews are from people who have low credit scores, what do they expect when told the price or percentage of apr, of course its going to go up bc of your low score. I am 20 years of age and Emanuel Becerra (Manny) helped me out choose my brand new 2021 honda civic hatchback sport cvt, he gave me the best deal possible and I even qualified for myself as a first time buyer with my credit score at 700 and I haven’t even a year with my credit!! This place will honestly give you their best deal they can. Remember at the end of the day the salesperson wants you to go home happy but they also want to go home happy so cooperating and negotiating is the best thing to do to get there. My parents were both with me helping me out negotiate with Manny and everything went perfect. I got the best deal I could possibly get for a kid who hasn’t even a year of building credit thanks to Manny and his manager!. Very professional. Thanks you guys for helping me out really appreciate it, my car is the best 🤟👍. -David N.
