Review Title: Sold Me a Lemon – No Accountability Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I purchased a vehicle from Volkswagen of Fairfield, and it’s been a nightmare ever since. Within a short time of ownership, the car started having serious issues. I brought it in for repairs over a week ago, and not only has nothing been fixed, but communication has been almost nonexistent. At this point, I believe they knowingly sold me a lemon. I expected more from a certified Volkswagen dealership. If you’re considering buying from this location, proceed with caution — in my experience, they do not stand behind the vehicles they sell or prioritize their customers.

I received a recall notice and a $50 gift card for a 2019

I received a recall notice and a $50 gift card for a 2019 Atlas. I’ve never owned a 2019 Atlas or any other VW. I called the dealer to find out how they got my name, thinking someone stole my identity. I spoke to three different employees - one each in sales, service, and finance, as well as someone in the corporate office. No one could tell me anything, other than it could be a marketing scam. I then emailed the GM, Ivan Figueroa, since he was never available to take my call, but received no response. Where is the customer service? And why isn’t anyone being honest about the mailings? Why hasn’t the GM answered my emails?

Alexi Alfaro was as down to earth and helpful as

Alexi Alfaro was as down to earth and helpful as possible. Even though the dealership has a whole can be a bit overwhelming , with technology and its communication approach. Alexi Alfaro made up for it by not being to pushy. She kept it 💯 and as honest as possible. The overall experience would have been great. But the dealership needs to tone down on the amount of different interactions it has with one client. Keep it simple and not too much

Candy did an excellent job, all around with our purchase

Candy did an excellent job, all around with our purchase in January 2025. We saw the ad for the vehicle on the Internet in my 19-year-old contacted them. Fortunately, Candy was a sales person. Oh, she began discussions with, and three days later, signed the contract and drove off in the vehicle. I believe Candy went above and beyond the normal realm of salesperson, as she gave great advice to my 19-year-old concerning insurance, titled documents and in general. It was a pleasure doing business with her, and we would highly recommend Volkswagen at Fairfield and sales employees such as Candy to all our friends.
