Marvin Hokstam sold me 2 vehicles, one I financed and the other I leased. NO PRESSURE which I am a huge fan of! He explained the options in detail and let my wife and I decide what to do. Simply put, if you're NOT looking to get an ulcer, high blood pressure, or angry when shopping for a new car go see Marvin....

This is my 3rd car from this dealership.
This is my 3rd car from this dealership. The previous two vehicles were before this dealership was bought by Tasca Hyundai. My first two experiences were fantastic no issues. My most recent leasing experience has been absolutely brutal. Truthfully I wish I went with New Rochelle Hyundai instead. I feel as though this dealer is now run by snake oil salesman. I was told everything and anything just to get me into the car. The second that you sign the paperwork it then becomes absolutely impossible to speak with your salesman/manager. Not only does the customer service email on the website come back with an error code but every single time I’ve called asking to speak to a manager I’m told they are not at their desk and will get back to me. In February I leased a 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT. I agreed to come out of my Tucson and upgrade to a palisade. I was told the dealership would eat the remaining payments. Took a few weeks to get the vehicle I wanted to the dealership. It was not until I signed the paperwork that i realized I made a payment for the Tucson two days earlier. Dealership told me that I was part of the pull ahead program and there was nothing they could do so I called Hyundai finance and was told I would receive a refund. After back and forth Hyundai decided that I would not receive a refund for February’s payment unless the dealer paid them for February. So for the month of February I paid for two cars. Furious I called the dealership back and after haggling with the manager they agreed to refund me $200 bucks. It’s now June and I’ve still not received the refund. In addition when I received the vehicle there were two dents on one of the rear doors. Was told numerous times through email and verbally over the phone that the dealership would schedule a repair and get back to us. It’s June and the repair has still not been scheduled. Truthfully management should be far more embarrassed by this situation than anyone. If I as a supervisor continued to tell paying customers I would return their calls and never did I would have lost my job. Even if I am completely and utterly wrong a manager who actually cares about customer service would return phone calls or emails in a reasonable time period. My last two complaints are 1) I was told there would be an “update” coming that would automatically push through and make my Apple CarPlay wireless just like my Tucson had( this never happened) and last but not least I made it very very clear to the salesman Marvin numerous times that I wanted a trailer hitch ON THE VEHICLE. He swore up and down that it came standard with the XRT package. It’s my fault that I never bothered to climb under the vehicle and check if it was installed. I assumed it was installed and hidden behind a cap on the bumper. It wasn’t until last night while getting ready for a family trip that I realized the hitch wasn’t there at all. As per usual it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone and like I said before the email address provided ON THEIR WEBSITE doesn’t work. Somehow the managers are always so busy they are never at their desks or able to call customers back. Needless to say I will never ever buy or lease another car from this dealership. It’s been a painful experience and if asked I will tell everyone to steer clear of this dealer. This dealer seems to have turned to crap since Tasca purchased them which is odd considering their pledge is “We humbly pledge to continue the Tasca Family Commitment that YOU WILL BE SATISFIED”

Don't EVER buy a vehicle here.
Don't EVER buy a vehicle here. My GF bought one and the dealership didn't have the title then 3 weeks after they got it they didn't register it. The salesmen Marvin told her to stop calling and figure it out on her own. They didn't get the CT emissions done when she paid for CT registration which meant they had to do it to register the vehicle. He even called her a liar when she told him the credit union has been trying to reach them for the paperwork regarding the lien. A week later after going up there for the 4th time and the car STILL isn’t registered!! I’m going to have to pay them a visit AGAIN this weekend. These people are your typical sleazy salesmen who don't care about the customer. They never answer the phone but are so quick to take your money. AVOID THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY MARVIN

Tied selling is a federal offense , am considering filing a FTC complaint . They told me I had to pay for item add on's above MSRP price .I refused and left , they lost a legitimate sale on a 2023 Santa Fe over 800 dollars worth of useless stuff , first aid kit cargo net ect. waste of my time !!

Love this place.
Love this place. Second time I've bought a car there, one new, the other pre-owned. Great team. Especially Marvin!

Thank you for leaving us this great review, Jeff. We are very happy to hear that Marvin and our team could provide you with a second car buying experience that was just as good or better as the first! Please come back and see us again in the future with anything else you might need. Take care! Sincerely, The Team at Tasca Central Avenue Hyundai
The worst.
The worst. I was leased a lemon that twice had engine failure. The first time they held the car for 4 months waiting for repair. When it was finally fixed, after I had to rent a car for $9,000.00 because they refused to loan me a courtesy car, I got it back and it was filthy. Covered in dirt and the interior was filthy. No attempt made to wipe it down so I get it back in decent condition. The second time the engine failed most likely due to an oil leak from a faulty repair I had it towed to the dealer when it died as I drove to work. That was in April 2023. I ended that lease, which ran to October 2023, right then and there. The dealer ended the lease because I refused to take it back citing Lemon Laws. Yet I still get bills for it. No matter how many times I call them they do nothing. Hyundai Financial was told the dealer did not have the car. The dealer cannot seem to be able to figure out what happened to it. It could not have been driven off the lot because the engine was dead. And still, months later, they can’t or won’t figure it out. Add to this their abhorrent process for taking a lease. You sit with a “salesperson” and work out a cost. Then they make you wait hours to see the business manager who tosses it all out and jacks up the cost. I endured this after my first vehicle with them, a Kona, burst into flames when a truck hit me. While in significant discomfort that they were aware of they still made me wait hours in agony for a replacement vehicle. They are everything that is wrong with car dealers. How long do I have to endure harassment from finance to pay fees I have no responsibility to pay? How are they unable to solve this issue? I never post negative reviews of any business. I do not do it. But this has gone beyond what is tolerable. And still I get calls. “This is an attempt to collect a debt……”No! There is no debt as there was no car in my possession. They are real quick to notify credit bureaus but no urgency to fix their errors. Shame on you.
