I brought my 2021 Sportage in for an oil change and

I brought my 2021 Sportage in for an oil change and multi-point inspection. I bought the vehicle from a different Kia dealer and wanted it checked out by dealer closer to my home in DC. The service reps were prompt and courteous. Everything went smoothly. The only reason I didn’t rate my experience at five stars was because the facility was in a cramped location. They may be involved in making improvements to the service area—which would be great.

Overall positive experience, including negotiation in

Overall positive experience, including negotiation in advance of coming to the dealership. Fairly straight-forward though the process ended up taking an entire afternoon and early evening. Seemed to drag out longer than needed. Would recommend this dealership.

They scammed my husband.

They scammed my husband. We bought a used 2017 Chevy Volt. After a use of one week, the check engine light turned on. We sent it in for repairs, but it was never returned after 20 days. We had a one month money back guarantee but the manager told us he would only return 10,000 dollars instead of the 14,000 dollars we paid for the car, as he wishes to keep the deposit for the car we put in.

BLUF: Do not buy a used car from this place.

BLUF: Do not buy a used car from this place. I bought a used car here recently, i let them know that i had special circumstance. I live more than an hour from their location and I needed to be sure the car i bought was free of any issues. I was assured the car was in great shape and i would have no issues. less then a few hundred miles later the check engine light came on. I took it to a shop to have the code read since the car was now operating under reduced power. I was told that the car had issues that needed to be corrected immediately. The car should not be driven since there was a chance that it would result in even further damage to the drive train. It could also possibly just stop running. I called the dealer and I pleaded with them to buy back the car. I reminded them that i told them that this would bring undue and unexpected hardship because of my situation. The best they could do is what was required by law which was they would let their service department work on it. So now they have had the car back in the shop longer than i did after I bought it. I was told they were waiting on parts. A part i can probably get myself on line in a week they have no idea when its going to be in. But I will have to leave soon out of of the country and how am i supposed to pick it up? They don't really care. But if and when it is ever ready they will be ready to charge me storage fees if i cant come pick it up. Added to this the when the codes were scanned it looks like the codes had been cleared recently. So they may have sold me a car they knew had issues. In any case, a car I am stuck without a car that I bought specifically to be used during this time, spending more money than I expected and now not knowing what to do with a car I bought and cannot use. Buying a used car from here i would not recommend.
