I was pretty excited on getting a new car I wanted and it

I was pretty excited on getting a new car I wanted and it was my first time buying a car. I’ve made it known upfront I will not be financing with them. Even after agreeing on a price that I was happy with, the salesperson misinformed me that they were going to do a background check. When I logged in my information I scrolled to the top of the page and it said “Applying for financing”. I had asked why did it say applying for financing when I’m putting in my information for a background check, that just didn’t make sense to me and keep in mind I have been there for 2 to 3 hours now. Salesperson said it was part of the process and when I hit submit they ran through my credit score and got a hard inquiry on it 3 minutes later after submitting. I had made it known multiple times I did not want to finance with them and all they needed to do was send an invoice and purchase order to my bank but lied to face so I walked out. Please be careful on buying a car from this dealership. They say it’s your choice but they kept playing games. Honestly disappointed because I saw other reviews here and I should have trusted the reviews. If I could give zero stars I would have already done it.

I purchased a car from out of state.

I purchased a car from out of state. I felt like the transaction was handled very well and we had an agreement prior to my traveling to Salem to complete the transaction. It was a smooth transaction. Sofia was particularly helpful to make the sale work.

Had a deal in place, when i got there they changed it.

Had a deal in place, when i got there they changed it. They said your trade in wasn’t worth it even though I looked it up on kbb they used to poor column. Tried to squeeze another 1500 out of me. I just laughed at them and walked out! Their new leader are typical shady car salesmen. Don’t buy from these clowns.

We apologize that you feel this way. When we made the deal, you represented your trade as being in good condition without us seeing it. When you brought it in, it needed a windshield and tires. The $1500 was an adjustment off of the good condition you told us for these two items. I'm sorry we weren't able to meet your needs.

We are a dealership with very high standards for our preowned vehicles. We would not sell a car that would require new tires within the next year, I hope you can appreciate our position on that. Because of our commitment to selling quality products, we would need to replace the tires, thus the change in our offer for your vehicle which was a sight unseen estimate based on what you told us, to be verified when you brought us the vehicle to see. I'm sorry you feel this way. We weren't able to make a deal that you were happy with, I hope you can appreciate that we are not a dealership looking to "squeeze every cent out of a customer", rather we are committed to making a fair deal for you and for us. That doesn't make us "typical shady car salesmen", we are very transparent in everything we do. We sincerely hope you are able to find the deal you are looking for.

Was straight forward with my trade in. Let them know there was a new crack in the windshield and for that $500 was more than reasonable for the dealer cost to replace. The tires still have plenty of miles left on them( they will last util next year) it was more important to them to squeeze every cent out of a customer then to make the deal.

Put a price of a car on Cars.

Put a price of a car on Cars.com, then when I inquired they said it cost a price 4k more and that it was never supposed to be that price. This was AFTER I had confirmed the price and they said they would honor it, they changed their mind and backed out. They are slimy.

Ethan Howard was easy to work with, knowledgeable,

Ethan Howard was easy to work with, knowledgeable, patient, made our purchase as quick as possible even though the dealership was very busy and it was later in the day. Then didn't try to rush us out the door to close up shop. Finance man was efficient and personable.

I was in a bit of a bind, and was able to stop in on a

I was in a bit of a bind, and was able to stop in on a urgent, almost emergency, visit this last Saturday. Karissa, if I remember correctly, from service was amazeballs, and so was the tech. I squeezed in for a safety check on my brakes I had just replaced Wednesday at my local Mazda, 4 hours away. I had really bad brake smell, like burning brakes, not good. The tech had 20 hours or so of work, but again, they squeezed me in right at his lunchtime. I also was in a time crunch to make it to my granny's 100th birthday, an hour away. Turns out, the brake cable tension wasn't right, and the tech adjusted things, no charge and got me on my way. I honestly cannot say enough about how much of a god send they were. Seriously, I need to send cookies or something. And they potentially saved my life, as well as others.
