Worst new car buying experience I have ever had.

Worst new car buying experience I have ever had. To be fair... this was a kind of unique deal, where it was a last day of the moth sale, and the vehicle was entered into the system as sold long before I received it. The vehicle was also at another dealer in Wyoming, so transport was involved. Much of my discontent is the result of that transport. Since the vehicle was already in the system as mine, it appeared in my OnStar account almost immediately, so the clock also started running on my vehicle subscription services at that point. When GMCoRFP contacted me almost 2 weeks later to tell me it was on the transport I was able to track it through the MyGMC app and see that it hadn't moved. I gave it a week, and then asked them what was going on, at which point they apparently were able to get it moving. Much to my dismay, however, I saw that it was being driven 100 miles from Cody WY to Billings MT where it was put on a transport truck. On Feb. 27, after a phone call and several emails, they agreed to apply ceramic paint coating at a discount as compensation for the 3 weeks loss of vehicle subscription services, and I made arrangements to travel the 100 miles to pick the Hummer up the next day, on the 28th. They said the process would start at 9:00 and should be done at 11:00, so I timed my arrival accordingly. When I arrived, the Hummer had obviously not been detailed or had the ceramic coating applied, and looked very much like a used vehicle. There were water spots and dirt on the exterior, dings in the hood, and surface rust starting to show on the front suspension components, The interior was also dirty. One of the workers there said that it had showed up on the trailer covered in mud from top to bottom. I took it for a test spin, and all the systems seemed to be fine and it drove very nicely, but when I returned and said that I would not purchase it in that condition, they said they would detail it, wash the under-body, and have their body technician take out the dings. The last thing is the only thing that happened! (Kudos to the body guy... he did a good job.) After completing all the paperwork the Hummer was still sitting in the same spot in the same condition. No detail, no wash... After waiting around for about an hour, Zach told me they were too busy to get to it, and offered to pay for a detail once I got it home, so that is definitely to their credit. Spencer and Zach seem like good guys, were pleasant to talk to, and very apologetic, but in the end, failed to deliver on any of their promises. I think that had circumstances been different things would have gone smoother, but the whole experience was so angst filled that I would not go through it again! YMMV! On the upside... I do love the vehicle and can't wait to surprise my wife with it when she gets home from a California trip. (Hopefully AFTER I get it detailed.) ;-)

We were mis-lead by at least 3 employees tegarding a car

We were mis-lead by at least 3 employees tegarding a car that was advertised as on the lot. We scheduled an appointment to drive it around busy work schedules, it was “at the shop getting its safety screening, you can take it out this afternoon”. Four days later they admitted it was still being transported from California. We lost out on other available cars. I do not recommend doing business with the Riverfront Park GMC dealership in Spokane.
