Attempting to purchase a used car.

Contacted dealership and was treated rudely by sales associate. Tried to ask questions about the vehicle and was quickly cut off. I have bought 3 other vehicles from here but now I'm not sure I will go back.

Awesome service

Went in to look around and found a beautiful 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Cody was awesome in handling our deal and got us well under blue book and in our budget. Following week I went to help my daughter find a new vehicle, while we were looking around the manager had service detail my challenger. I really felt I needed to tell everyone how good my experience was, normally the only people review are those who had a issue. From my experience as an employee at an RV dealer, most complaints are just those you will never please!

Lack of customer loyalty is appalling.

Drove 60 miles from Caldwell because I was told it was a done deal and I just needed to come pick my color of truck. I was told by Sterling that Junior had been working on my deal while I was enroute (apparently the four previous hours wasn't enough time to get me an answer) and that it was a no go because of the negative equity in my trade, which I bought from them in March. They sold me a truck for more than it was worth and wouldn't help me get out from under it. Even with a $2000 down payment. No customer loyalty is about the worst thing a company can lack. It ranks right up there with lying to customers just to get them in the store. Adding insult to injury was the fact that Junior, the Finance Manager, would not even talk to me face to face. If they are not making money off you, they don't seem to have time for you. Stay well away from the Auto Ranch. They have successfully pushed my business and any I might refer to Kendall or Corwin. Family and friends have purchased four vehicles from them, so it's not like that is an empty threat.

airconditioning failure to repair

I took my 1993 saturn station wagon to auto ranch to have the air-conditioner repaired; on the third attempt the compressor was found to be broken. When we approached the service staff to pick up the car we were given no suitable explanation. Do you know what you are doing?

Selling Lemons, Warranty not worth the paper

Run far, far away as fast as you can! We drove 350 miles to purchase a Dodge Grand Caravan 2 weeks ago today. We had been assured that the van had gone through full inspection with no issues. My husband checked everything. Besides, the van came with a warranty which offered peace of mind. Less than 50 miles later, as we were driving to Boise for the night, the gas cap warning and check engine lights came on. Hoping it was just a cap issue we filled up and drive around waiting for it to reset. No such luck. They told us to bring the van in. They replaced the gas cap, reset the lights, and sent us on our way (without topping off our gas tank as promised for the inconvenience). We drove home. The next day the lights were back on but we were 350 miles away!!! The dealership said they would set up an appointment with our local Dodge dealership. 5 days, 2 emails, and several phone calls later we had an appointment scheduled for the following Monday. Our local dealership determined that the evap canister needed to be replaced. While doing their inspection they also noted that there was a significant transmission leak. They contacted Mountain Home Auto Ranch, sent pictures, and were told to just leave it as is. When they told me what was going on I contacted Auto Ranch. Several calls and emails later I was told it was just "normal seepage" and would not effect performance. I double checked with our local dealership who checked fluid levels and provided me with pictures. In 12 days, 3 spent in the shop, we had lost ½ quart of transmission fluid!!! After parking the van overnight in a clean area I checked the ground. Sure enough, there's a spot on the ground! Mountain Home Auto Ranch refuses to honor their warranty. They refuse to get a 2nd opinion before finalizing their decision. I've tried talking to them and finding middle ground. They don't care. Their lemon is off the lot and we have an expensive (warranty covered) repair to pay for after 2 weeks of ownership. The warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Do yourself a favor and run away before you get duped too.

Slap in the face....rude

My wife and I were traveling through mountain home and stopped at the auto ranch and test drove a toyota pickup. My wife liked it so we started the paper work to make the purchase. We wanted to trade in our 2007 Santa fe. They offered us 400$ trade in. The car booked for 2500$. The sales man said that was the auction value of the car. What a joke. I can't see how this dealership is still in business. No way will I ever recommend anyone to this type of treatment from a car dealership.

Sold a lemon

We purchased a car from auto ranch in mountain home idaho. By the time we got home the air conditioning stopped working and the flashers. When we called to tell them about what happened they said they would talk to the manager but he was in a meeting from then on they were always in a meeting. I finally told them I would report them for selling a car they knew was a lemon. The car salesman called me right back and was very nasty and told me they were not doing anything about it. The car also had a squirrel nest under the engine and when we told them they said there was no way they missed that. Very dishonest dealings with this car dealership. Buyer be aware.

No such thing as customer service here

Went in to try and test drive a 450 King Ranch and the manager told me because I had dealt with Corwin in the past to get my a $$ off of the lot and that another dealership shouldnt be selling off their lot.. HUH? Maybe that's why Mountain Home Auto Ranch is the only dealership in 100 mile area that still has the 2016 450 King Ranch I was interested in. Humiliation and profanity is a great combination for a Ford dealership representative. Ford needs to take a good look at these so called " certified dealers"
