    I am a Very happy Kitty Vanbortel Subaru customer. The leasing process was so easy. They let me drive 5 different Subaru?s without having a pushy sales... person in the car with me. They just leave the keys in and let me switch plates on my own. Who does this?! I came in and told them which car suited my needs. I felt the price was fair. I was given options with no pressure. I prebought my oil changes. I came in a week early for an oil change, and YES they saw me Didn?t even make a big deal out if it. I?m a fan for life. I tell everyone I know to go to Kitty?s for a Subaru

    We are new to this area so weren’t really sure where to shop for a new vehicle. We had a number of very stressful experiences with car dealerships and... came prepared for a sleazy salesperson to approach us and spend hours dickering over the final price. We were very pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the salesman. We drove the cars we were interested in and received a fair trade in price and amount for the new car. Everything went so smoothly. We wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from this dealership. Thank you Simo.

    Went for a 30 minute oil change. The person who checked the car in gave me a tan ticket and said I was all set. I walked through the door and looked left... and right and the girl behind the counter said the waiting room is to the right. I go and get comfortable and an hour goes by and I’m thinking it’s unusual for an oil change to take this long. After 1 1/2 hours I go to the desk and ask why it’s taking so long and the young man tells me my car is not in the computer. He told me I was supposed to check in at the desk. Well, the person who checked my car in did not tell me that. He told me I was all set!!! I was very upset. The young man behind the counter was so patient as I was not. He wanted to reschedule and I couldn’t as I was leaving the country on Monday. His next solution was to give me a rental so I could do my errands and they would get to my car after the tech got back from lunch LOL. I was ok with that. So 2 hours after arriving,I had a car, not mine, and set off to do my errands. It was about 1 1/2 hours after that when I got called my car was ready. While the screw up was up front, the service I received after the error was discovered was top notch. The young man taking care of the situation was as calm as a cucumber and I was not. He was awesome and should be congratulated for making a messed up situation work. This was the first messed up appointment I’ve every had at a Subaru dealer so overall you do do a great job!

    I've been going to Van Bortel Subaru for nine years and they've taken great care of my Forester. I've never bought the same car or from the same dealer... before, but this place is making me reconsider that.

    I paid $25.38 for the air filter that has a MFG list of 22.98. PN 72880ALOOA. The filter was removed and inspected as part of the Pre-paid 60K service... contract. I paid an additional $52.80 for removal and installation. Over charged for part and double dipped on labor. NOT GOOD

    I'm on the road endlessly every day around New York state, driving any and every brand of rental car brands every day. When my turn signal bulb went out... mid road trip, I stopped by here and even on a Ford, the Van Bortel Subaru team was able to fix it in minutes with a smile. Truly awesome walk in "can you help me and fix it?" visit, solved and back on the road in no time. Nothing they won't do for you...is so true. Thank you!

    I recently had the regular service on both our 9th and 7th Subaru's done at Van Bortel, the latter needing out of warranty work. I was completely satisfied,... as usual with their promptness and courtesy, and found the charges quite comparable to independent garages. And they cheerfully applied all of the applicable coupons and discounts. I have purchased all but one of our Subarus from Van Bortel, and recommend them without reservation.

    Welcoming and always willing to help. When other dealers couldn't get me the new Impreza, Van Bortel got it for me the next day. I continue to go there... for service, even though it's quite a distance from my house. They've been great with regular maintenance and the times I've needed urgent attention to my car.
