VW lovers BEWARE!

VW lovers BEWARE! If I could give them zero stars I would! I had been a long time customer. I had numerous leases and loans through them. I trusted the salesman AJ Wintershol with each purchase. However the last time I returned with my boyfriend to purchase a new Taos we were totally taken advantage of! I cant believe how shady they were! First off, I specifically asked to check with Lebanon federal credit union because I knew they had competitive rates. Once we came in the process of purchasing the vehicle the sales manager Byron ran the credit straight through VW credit. Not even asking our preference to which bank we would prefer. While figuring out how much down money we would like to put on the vehicle the salesman stated the interest rates for the brand new vehicles. I questioned why the brand new year old vehicle (a leftover 2024) had a different interest rate. The 2025 was at a 4.9% he said. The math was not adding up but understandably we were excited to make the purchase. The quoted interest rate was 3.9% for this vehicle. I assumed the interest rate was to sell it faster being it had been a left over from 2024. Which was great at the current time I knew at the best Lebanon Federal Credit union was running a 5.5%. Also please take note our credit score # is well above good ratings on the scale so getting the best rate wasn't the problem. The whole time we were never corrected by Aj for the actual interest rate which was 6.9%. I waited for the paperwork to come in the mail to set up the first payment through Vw credit. Only to find the interest 6.9%! I understand it was our fault for not reading the fine print but I never thought I would be lied to for what the actual interest rates were when we were "crunching numbers" ! Now we were left with years off extra interest to pay for! Had I known the rate I would of said specifically run it through a different bank! All this just to make a sale-pathetic! I would beware and advise if you are still thinking of going here double, triple check your paper work and don't take any thing the say without seeing it in writing! Bryon was more interested in selling a warranty then anything else! And of course getting that final sale signature! I would never recommend them to anyone! I will in the future definitely be taking my business to another VW dealer in our area. It was more work for Byron to step outside of Vw credit financing to look for other financing at other institutions which is just pure laziness. Dealerships should appreciate long term customers not take advantage of them! Thankfully I was able to refinance with PA Federal credit union for 4.99% after going through all the hassle and doing what should have done in the beginning and searching for the best competitive rate in the area!

BEWARE. BAIT AND SWITCH!

Found a used car on Cars.com. Talked to salesman, came in, test drove, put down a deposit, gave info for credit check. Next morning, get told the cost is actually $6000 more than the listed cost. "Nothing We can Do". Terrible experience.

Great car buying experience!

We’ve purchased many vehicles over the last 25 years and working with AJ was one of the best experiences. Great communication, professional, and knowledgeable. We drove 60+ miles and are very satisfied with the car buying service here.

Bad service, would not recommend.

They can't even take a car and Service it right away. My car has been sitting on the lot for over 6 hours and not even pulled into garage yet.

filthy cars

based off their online listings and every car looks completely filthy.. no thanks. If you don't care enough to even detail or wash the cars before you list them, why would I feel comfortable giving you any money?!

Dealer response

Given the eccentricities of customers...I made the decision to post pics of my own or have pics posted before they were cleaned and prepared to give customers a view immediately. Sorry to disappoint. Please check back in a week or so and you will see higher quality pics after cleaning. Scott

This dealership is the epitamony of garbage. Their service department is lacking in quite a few areas. Instead of explaining what the part that needs to be replaced is and what it does the answer is "it reads things and is bad" When asked about tires failing inspection the advisor could not even explain tread depth. No tdi techs and most of the other techs literally have no idea what they are doing. Beware, do not shop or service at this place. I have no idea how they still have a Volkswagen franchise.
