Checked a CPO car on line one night and did an on line chat. I also requested to be notified if there was a price change. The next day I was contacted... and the price of the car went up $2,000. Talk about bait and switch. The representative wondered "how that could happen. " The following day at 2AM, 3AM, and 4AM an email was sent to me notifying me of a price change. Later that day, I check Fred Beans website for the vehicle that I was interested in and it was no longer in stock. The next day the car was marked as sold. The representative avoided contacting me after I pointed out how the price changed over night. How can this be a reputable dealer with these kinds of antics.
As it has been the case since I first purchased my car here, I had good service on time at reasonable cost, done by courteous staff.
I just completed my second and most satisfactory lease experience of a new Ford Fusion. My salesperson was most attentive to my wants and needs as well... as to the limited amount of time I actually spend driving. He was able to show me a more affordable vehicle with almost every option I thought I wanted but actually rarely used in my current model. He went out of his way to obtain this Fusion in the exterior/interior color that was my "must have" combination.

I purchased a used Ford F150 from Fred Bean Ford, Chip (sales person) told me that it went through the service department and was completely checked over... which put me at ease because I was purchasing a Ford truck that a certified Ford Technician just looked over and I was spending more than $1,300.00 over KBB value, well less than 6,300 miles later it developed a mis-fire on cylinder #5, the intake was cracked leaking antifreeze into the cylinder, the intake needed to be replaced, the coil packs needed to be replaced and the spark plugs were replaced. I contacted Fred Bean Ford and was told they wouldn't help me on the cost of the repairs. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, it was a costly mistake on my part.
