Would like to thank Eddy and Alec again for making this a no pressure and relaxing truck buying experience

I don't know how to begin, other than to say DO NOT BUY A

I don't know how to begin, other than to say DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. The level of incompetence is unmatched They had a 2022 Mustang advertised online that I was interested in. So I filled out the online form and in the comments section I ask for the Out the Door Price of the car. I ask for this with a break down of all the fees, taxes, etc. Instead I get an IPACKET of information from a girl named Stephanie. I wrote back and politely thanked her for the information, but repeated my original request. A day later she sends me a reply stating "Your new car is waiting" again with a list of features. Now I am frustrated and make my third request and advise her I can not do business without my requested information. This time, no response at all. So I got on the website chat, and explained I needed to talk to the sales manager about my request. All I got was an apology and assurance someone would get back to me. A few days go by and nothing. Then the apparently mysterious Stephanie writes another information driven email. I finally told her to please leave me alone, and hit the unsubscribe button on the email, and hit the report as spam on on my email.

Dealer response

Hello Joe, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We advertise with rebates set forth by the manufacturer. Our website, Blaisealexanderchevy.com, itemizes these rebates to make things clear and concise as to what you may qualify for. Looks like your lead source started on Cars.com during your visit. We always recommend shopping on our website, as other third-party sites can be misleading.

We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Despite our vehicle registration being recently renewed, the staff refused to transfer our existing license plate. Instead, they insisted we purchase a new plate and registration, which extended our time at the dealership far beyond what was necessary and resulted in an additional cost of $60. This situation was especially distressing for my mother, who has a traumatic brain injury and severe anxiety. The extended wait time and lack of accommodation caused her significant discomfort and stress. To make matters worse, the registration has still not arrived in the mail, and the temporary tag has since expired. While we were able to resubmit the registration for processing, the dealership declined to issue a new temporary tag, leaving us with a vehicle we are currently unable to drive. Overall, this dealership showed a clear lack of empathy and professionalism. Our experience suggests that the staff are more focused on upselling and profits than on customer service or creating a positive purchasing experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership to others.

Dealer response

Per our conversation we did not charge you any additional money for the plate. What we did was renew your plate because it was expired. A new plate was issued because the state is replacing certain tag numbers at no cost to the customer. The registration was rejected at the state due to no fault of ours. You were presented with multiple options to fix it and declined to do so. Unfortunately the state of Pennsylvania only allows us to issue one temporary registration unless the temp tag was defaced which was not the case. Once we agreed on a way to proceed the issue was handled with in minutes and back at the state level. If any further issues arise please contact us and we will address them in a timely manner.

I'm ready to buy a vehicle, asked for prices, and nobody got back to me. I have a business and if I ran my business that way, I wouldn't have one. I am done with any Blaise dealership as this is the second time I had a horrible experience.

After taking our Chevy here for inspection last year & telling them we were hearing rubbing & squeaking….they passed it & said nothing wrong. 1 yr & only 400 plus miles later…. The brakes need replacing (you mean the ones we told you about last year?) & the frame is rusted through?!! What? Wait… nothing at all mentioned about rust last year and only 400 miles later the frame completely rusted through?? They said yes! From it sitting they said! How do we go from zero rust even mentioned to actual holes in the frame in 1 yr? Well, I guess it’s the muncy air lol. Between the brakes & frame my husband could have been killed. When I told them he is disabled cop/Veteran who already was almost killed in an auto wreck & that I didn’t appreciate them sending him off last year to almost be killed in a vehicle that clearly should not have passed inspection… they could not have cared less. Based on reviews and Facebook these people do not care about you. I have never read so many bad reviews and newsflash after my husband became disabled from police work….He sold cars and worked for a big dealership in the Lehigh Valley. This place has a bad rap all the way down there too. Stay away.

Overall the BAFD group is hit and miss.

Overall the BAFD group is hit and miss. I have bought cars from them but they cant always get you the best deal or get you in a car no matter what they tell you when you first walk in. My last car I bought there was in 2020 at the old Chevy dealership that was Subaru (now its Kia they move dealerships a lot). I loved that car, I had it 4 yrs, it was in my name. It was the only car I ever had in just my name. The sales man was ok, he needed help from others when I bought it, so it was a bit iffy on how he did his side of the deal. So watch which dealership you work with, Ive tried the Mazda dealer in State College and the one in Mansfield. They are all different in their own way when it comes to approving people. I have had hit n miss luck here at this chevy dealer as well. I tried more of a down payment and they refused to work with me at all. Thats not taking care of the customer esp when they cant afford new cars. These new cars with all the tech are out of a lot of people price range, and when you cant help them get into any car used more than 8yrs that isnt good service I think. Oh and when theres no trade in they pretty much look disappointed...

Dealership was great!

Dealership was great! But I think GM should step up and pay for their mistake. A truck with 13,000 miles should not have this problem.
