Worst sales experience I’ve ever encountered! I’ve never made a negative review in my life but the situation I was involved in with Fred Beans was so horrible... I have to share. I spent nearly 4 hours in their showroom with a mask on due to COVID restrictions. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and the most I was willing to pay. I had my trade valued and test drove the vehicle I wanted within half hour. No complaints there. I told the salesperson I needed to finance over 60 months at no more than a set rate. With a little back and forth, they came in at $12 more per month and I was willing to put slightly more down. It was more than I wanted to pay but it was close enough. We had a deal. The next 3 hours I waited around while they finalized paperwork and it wasn’t until I was being pitched additional warranty options that I saw they put it under a 72 month term! When I brought it up they tried to fall back on the monthly payment being what we had negotiated and the term was slightly more! 12 months of additional payments is no slight increase and they completely screwed up. They let me walk out with no apology and no follow up call. Horrendous customer service.
This dealership was my second stop in my search for a 2019 Mustang. Dave V listened to what I wanted and paired me with the exact car I was looking for.... Contacted dealership who advertises that they have online buying and delivery. Customer service stated that i have to come to dealership by appt. only... and that they don't deliver. So i make appt. At the dealership which is an hour and a half away only to be told when i arrive that the car has been sold. Not happy.
When I talked to their internet sales manager, I said "This is a two part deal." "The first part is the out the door cash price on xyz vehicle" then I... continued "the second part is IF I decide to have a trade, what is the the minimum you would give me for xyz vehicle?" The got back to me with their best out the door price and we agreed on an appointment time for me to come in. I contacted Bergey Ford in Landsdale and gave them an opportunity to make a deal given the same criteria on an identical vehicle. Bergey Ford came in well over $4,000 under Fred Beans Ford. When I contacted Fred Beans, they asked what the deal was and they would beat it and if they couldn't, I would get $500 in cash. Hmmmm, I guess somebody wasn't listening when I asked for their best out the door cash price. In the end, I purchased from Bergey, but I have to admit, the Fred Beans sales department were extremely nice even though we didn't make a deal.
they have the car online and the still have it list it online up to now they call me to go see the car i drove 40 min the dealer they pull the car out... from online they say the do not have it any more i would never buy a car for there the have bad service

Had a good experience the day I purchased a pre-owned Escape. Was called ten days after purchasing the car to inform me they made a major error in typing... in the wrong payoff amount in my paperwork nor did they call to verify the payoff. Out of coincidence the salesperson stopped working there two days after my sale. The General Manager, Tony could care less. He showed no empathy with the situation. I then requested to speak with the owner who was just as rude. He made sure to throw in my face how long he’s been in business and that the situation would get nasty. I really was made to feel like a thief. Like a pebble in their shoe that they wanted to get rid of. I ended up returning the vehicle back to them and getting my trade in back. Took my business elsewhere and ended up with a brand new Escape! As someone who works for a financial institution and in Customer Service, there’s a way to talk to people. I will be sure to not recommend anyone to this “family” of dealerships!!
I ran a credit check for a vehicle in October. I was approved. I put a security deposit on the vehicle. I waited months and was never contacted. when... I contacted the company they told me I had to come in for another credit check. They told me I failed that credit check. I have yet to see my car or my security deposit. THEY ROBBED ME BLIND! It has been 6 months now. I have personally spoke to the manager of this operation and Fred Beans himself. They are not willing to do anything to help out and go out of their ways to avoid any contact with me. I can not believe a place like this is still in business and until the day I die I will spread the word to every man woman and child I come into contact with that this organization (laughable) is the lowest of the low and even though they hide their nefarious behavior behind clean pressed suits, smiles, and firm hands shakes, they are no more than thieves!
