I would advise staying clear of this service department as the technicians do not check over your car or properly do the inspections their post to do.... Also seems like they might be way over charging you for different services. Be Careful. My BMW car battery died and would not start and had to jump start it. After jump starting it a check light engine come on for Electronic Dampening Control EDC malfunction. So, I brought my BMW Z4 in for battery problems with the check light engine that I thought was related to the battery not holding a proper charge, but they will figure all that out. They charge a $175 diagnosed fee that can be applied to charges, and after the inspection of my car I was told I need to replace my Battery, Coolant Fluid, Brake Flush, Oil Service. Even though all the fluid showed good in my BMW Dashboard with only the check engine error of EDC Control showing up as a problem. I wanted my car in perfect condition, so told them to do everything and I throw down $1000 and replaced all the fluids and battery. I waited till it was ready and went to go grab my car. I was told the car is in perfect condition and everything is checked out. I again asked about the check engine light and if it was just related to the battery and was told it was and that everything was good. She went on about how she thought that nothing could be wrong with the car due do how low the millage is on the car and they checked everything out and its perfect. She then talked about it being Friday and how she was trying to unlock a car with the remote and somehow all four of the car windows rolled down. She had to get other people to come look and figure it out, hope everything is okay with his car but hearing this makes more concern that they do not know what their doing as I feel they should know everything about BMW. Well, I jump in the car and what is right there on the dashboard of my car, The check engine light. I scroll on the monitor and same error is there. How does no one not see the light on when giving back the car even when just asking about it. It shows it in two places, the dashboard, and the monitor. This makes me feel the quality control is next to zero if they cannot even see a simple light. It went through inspection without ever being seen and was given back to me with it still on. Anyways I turned the car around and showed them. They called the technician but no answer, she thought its probably just a thing that needs to be driven to clear or they will clear it later. So, I was told to bring it in the next day and they would check it all out. Okay next attempt, sad to miss out on my day off but will do what needs to be done since it was not done right the first time. I bring it back in and leave it for a few more hours, I was then told the EDC Module needs to be replaced. How did you guys miss this on the first checkup even when mentioned multiple times? To replace it I was quoted $1847. $1200 for parts and about $650 for labor. Now this price seems to be outrageous, I can buy a used BMW Z4 2015 EDC Module from Ebay for $250 or I can buy a brand new one from BMW of Monterey for $737.66 and $40 for shipping. This is before installation price, but I believe, not sure, to replace the module and program it should not take no more than an hour and $650 seems to be steep labor cost especially when things are not checked over well or missing obvious things, like a check a check engine light on. I have basic car knowledge and over decades of education I am now able to read if a light is on or off just like a fly, ooooo pretty light. (Bad Joke but really come on how does everyone miss such a simple important light that shows up in two spots and when brought in for that reason. The world may never know. In end - Didn't fix the problems I brought the car in for. Charge me for fluids that were already good (but it was my choice but did this because I thought everything else was fine) I believe they are attempting to over charg

As a person who is a service advisor, I was very happy with Jonelle and the whole BMW experience. From drop off to pick up, I was informed every step of... the way through my service process. I was very impressed with the Tech Israel walk through video of my car showing me exactly what my car needs and why. I got email and text of the exact estimate and the option to pay online before I picked up to make my pick seamless. I will continue to drive out of my way to go here for service. I highly recommend.

RENE ZEPEDA OUTSTANDING SERVICE ADVISOR Just want to praise Rene Zepeda service advisor, last week I took my car for service and there were a few deviations... on it. He addressed all my concerns and help me putting the car back in the condition I expected, being so professional. Curious thing is that just one day before I took my other vehicle to the AUDI dealership across the street and difference in service, huge! ! ! He just went above and beyond. No doubt he is The Pro to go next time my car needs to be serviced. Only thing I missed was a courtesy car wash but I got a car loaner so I won't really complaint about it.

Very unprofessional and not trustworthy. In trying to purchase a $96K used vehicle, I got a run around and lied to. First lie was that they would match... the competitor price for the trade in. After supplying the trade in offer, they came back and stated they could not meet it. Adam, the sales person, sent me their best offer with the trade in with the VTR and window tint taken off. We were still $2K different, so I decided to hold off on the purchase. Then couple of weeks later, I saw on their website the price of the vehicle was dropped $2K. Instead of the sales person contacting me, I had to contact them to agree to purchase the vehicle if previous trade in conditions were still good. What I got back was that they had to charge for the window tint because of the price decrease. They wanted to charge $499 for a window tint that was already done when the vehicle was sold as new. I was told by Adam that all their vehicle are sold with the window tint, including all new cars. I asked the window tint to be taken off since Chapman BMW sold the vehicle when it was new with the window tint. Adam tried to lie that they did not sell the car, but it was sold in California. I had to bring up that the CarFax shows it was sold by them and not a California dealer. When it was verified by Adam, he started by telling me two take it or leave it. There is nothing he can do because the sales manager will not lower the price. What's funny is that I am willing to pay the price they listed and the trade in offer they provided before. Trying to nickel and dime a customer and not being completely trustworthy basically turned me off on purchasing any vehicle from them. Also, I'm a repeat customer because the vehicle I want to trade in was purchased from them.
Shane,Your web site still show the vehicle being available for sale. It's stick number 71617. If you had read my review carefully, I was willing to ...pay the price your dealer listed for and accept the trade in offer that was provided. What I objected to was the window tinting charge of $499 that was already done when the vehicle was sold new. Why was it being charged again as a used vehicle when your dealership already collected that extra charge when it was sold new from your dealership. The $499 is not much when I am accepting to pay the asking price of $95944. It has now been reduced by another $500. It was the principle of trying to double charge for something inconsequential and your sales person telling me to take it or leave it because that is how your dealership does business.
I have purchased around 10 cars in the past in different dealerships and I have never had an experience like today. Andre, the sales person was very attentive... and responsive, my problem was with the finance department. The person I dealt with in Finance was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. I understand the pressure tactics to try to add the maintenance plan and all the other extra items to the purchase, but you have to do it without crossing the line. I think this person thought I was a young college kid, but even if it was the case, it does not give him a reason to act the way he did. If I decline to add any of those items I don't think it is very appropriate to keep calling my decision (or me) stupid, not smart, cheap, crazy or that (and I quote) I shouldn't call his f@xxxxx phone to complain when I go to service the car there and I see the charges. The only reason why I stayed and finish the purchase was because my wife really wanted the car. We were leasing it and she wanted to keep it. In a different situation I would have just given it back and go somewhere else. I won't service it there, I won't buy a car there again, and I cannot recommend this dealership.

I had a PrePurchase Inspection done and they told me it was in excellent condtion. Well it is not. Battery keeps going dead, lots of battery acid under... the battery, rust and a lot more things. I am very disappointed in their thoroughness. I depended on them to let me know the car was OK to purchase since I am out of state.

Back story... In 2017 I purchased a 2017 540i but got horrible service from the service depart . For 3 yes I said I had a coolant problem and after 3 yrs... they find a coolant problem. The mechanics are not good and whole front line service depart. Are horrible. So now I wonder if they are even fixing my issues. My thoughts were right I got an oil change and 30days later my oil light came on saying "I need a quart of oil". Walmart mechanics can do a better job of changing oil!! Maybe I should go there !! Maybe they don't like my car 2017-540i?? The friendliness is a cover up "lies"!!
Tony,Sorry, you feel that way. In pulling your file the only record of a coolant light being on was your most recent visit on 10/29/20. We subsequen...tly diagnosed a leaking expansion reservoir. Unfortunately, you are out of factory warranty and declined to fix it. To let you know we value you as a customer and try and make it more palatable we offered to pay half. The offer still stands and I am sorry about the leak. Hopefully, you will take us up on it and we will get your BMW back to tip-top shape.
