We were traveling out of town Monday at 6:00, outside

We were traveling out of town Monday at 6:00, outside temp -3 when service engine light came on. Whet to greenwood with my x5 and the service department was closed. Landon Powers in the service department was still there. He added fluids needed and added pressure to tires outside in the cold. He did it cheerfully with no charge. Thank you Landon. Awesome service.

Jack, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Dreyer & Reinbold Of Greenwood!

The entire service team at Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru is

The entire service team at Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru is fantastic!!! Always attentive, impressive and reliable! So far, I've had both Camryn and Tyler as service advisors and they never fail to impress and always exceed expectations! Fabulous dealership! Wouldn't consider going elsewhere! In addition to that, the GM, John Collins, is awesome and my salesperson is Mark Larocco! - Both are astounding and I am certain that I will never shop elsewhere because of them!

Excellent experience

I dealt with Paul Lundgaard at BMW South - he was fantastic! He went out of his way to get me the vehicle I was looking for. His experience with BMW was very apparent, and made our buying experience top notch. I would highly recommend him and Dreyer & Reinbold when making a BMW purchase

i have a VW that i do not drive in the winter.

i have a VW that i do not drive in the winter. it had not been holding a charge, so i had it towed to another repair shop. they were unable to locate the issue after swapping my battery for which was under warranty. it drained the new battery as well. advised it was an electrical issue. so i decided to take it the VW dealership Dreyer and Reinbold and asked for an electric diagnostic after telling them about replacing the warranted battery twice. the service rep Alex, advised it was probably the batter and treated me like i didnt just tell him what had already been done. they contacted me to tell me it was the battery and that a new one needed to be put in. i advised again that the current battery was under warranty. there excuse was it was not a VW battery. my husband said put in "your" VW battery, drive it and then try to restart. was advised that it worked perfectly and was told it was ready for pick up. went to pick up paid 544.00 for diganostic (mind you i do not think this was done). and new VW battery. someone went to retrieve the car, and guess what it would not start. SO, left the car there, got a refund. after a week back and forth, was told that my radio was draining the battery. i had them unhook it and i will purchase somewhere else. went to pick up, yes it works great now, my 2 day old battery was disposed of that was under warranty, and i was still required to pay the 544. asked to speak to a manager who was also rude, and stated that they did not find the problem the first time. (is that because they checked the battery and nothing else). i asked that he should at least take something off my bill. his rudest response was well after we changed the battery it sat here for a week correct? so basically he is saying since it sat a week it is my fault the car wouldnt start after supposedly having a electrical diagnostic test at 199.99and he flat out and rudely said NO. i paid so i could get my vehicle, but i will never return to this location, and i will tell everyone i know to avoid them at all cost. GO SOMEWHERE else. they are rude and money hungry. a unhappy customer will tell people their experience more than a happy customer. no one went out of their way to make me "a happy customer".

Dealer response

I would very much welcome the opportunity to sit down with you in order to discuss the situation at your earliest convenience. Please reach out to me on my direct line - Sincerely, John Collins - GENERAL MANAGER (317) 8852125

Dealer response

As General Manager, I did reach out to the customer in order to be able to listen to both sides of the story and make an assessment. The customer and I spent over half an hour on a virtual meeting and I thought the communication went very well. It should be noted, the customer was very pleasant throughout the entire meeting. I also invited our VW shop foreman into the meeting, in order for him to be able to listen to the conversation and contribute. This proved to be extremely helpful. Firstly, it was established that the customer had never brought her vehicle into our service department before. This was, in fact, a fist time visit for an older VW that we had no prior knowledge of. This is relevant, since it may explain why the customer may have had some trepidation in dealing with us for the very first time. The customer initially brought the vehicle in with a flat aftermarket battery for electrical diagnostics. We recommended the installation of an original equipment factory battery in order to accurately diagnose the intermittent electrical fault. Without the factory approved battery, our factory diagnostic equipment may not have given accurate results. When the customer heard this from our Shop Foreman, she then admitted that she finally understood "why" we did things the way that we did them, and offered that, if this was explained to her from the beginning, there would have been no confusion on her part and, likely, no poor online review. The conclusion that we all reached together (after a very productive, informative and pleasant meeting) was admittedly - We must do a better job of communicating these things in our service drive, since it will certainly help to avoid confusion and trepidation on the customers’ part. We will work on this internally with our employees. I feel fully confident that the customer now sees why we recommended a factory battery and thereafter needed to run two diagnostics (we only charged her for ONE of them). Communication is everything. If we had done a better job on our end, this situation could have been avoided. My opinion is, the customer and I parted with the customer in a much happier frame of mind. It is my great hope that two things will happen from here on in; Firstly - I hope that the customer may consider altering the online review now that the confusion has been cleared up and it's been established that there was nothing underhanded done at the dealership. Secondly: I hope that we are able to build on the customer/dealer relationship and trust from here on in, through clearer communication on our part. - John Collins, General Manager Dreyer & Reinbold VW.

We had a very positive experience in buying our new car.

We had a very positive experience in buying our new car. Treated well without pressure from the sales and management people, Paul and Chad. They were generous with their time, explained everything we wanted to know both before and after the purchase, and were professional, courteous and friendly.

The deal was good, but the title work still isn't here

The deal was good, but the title work still isn't here and temp plates only have a day left. Been calling and emailing for weeks and get different answers each time. Follow up after the sale is extremely bad. Wonder what other surprises are coming but soon will not have a titled or licensed plate car to drive.

Valerie was great to work with, she understood my budget

Valerie was great to work with, she understood my budget and was able to get me in the new car quickly that met my needs after my previous care was involved in a wreck. They worked well with my bank due to finding better interest rates through the bank.
