I've gotten 5 cars from this place through Tommy reed. My 6 car from Joshua which unlike Tommy did not listen instead told me and my husband that the band of cars we like are trash. And pushed us to get a Kia soul which we didn't want. Now we are stuck with payments that doesn't meet are budget and a car we do not want. Thanks a lot Joshua cones and Bailey.

Every time we have purchased a new Kia Doug Magnuson has

Every time we have purchased a new Kia Doug Magnuson has handled the financing. Since I spent 40 years in the finance business I can say that he is the most professional F & I man I have ever met. When ever I am in the dealership getting one of our 2 Kia’s serviced and I see him he always gas a smile on his face and always takes time to chat and get caught up on my wife and I. I will always recommend Kia and him to anyone who asks.

Long Wait Paid Off!

I ordered a 2020 Kia Telluride Sx Prestige at the beginning of April and received it on August 29. Such a long wait due to factory issues with supply and demand but it was worth my wait! This vehicle is beautiful and amazing! Mac Bridges was so wonderful to keep me updated along the way and I think he and Josh were as excited as I was when it finally arrived! I appreciate them being patient with my impatience and thankful they were so positive about me ordering in the first place as I had been discouraged from ordering what I wanted from another dealer! Thanks Mac for being so kind every time I texted you! Thanks Josh for letting me know when there was an exciting update along the way! Thanks Doug for being so great with the finances!!!

I have not seen the "above and beyond" trait

We purchased a used car from Ray Skillman South Side Auto Center. The process was reasonably easy but the follow through on the back end was horrible. Many things promised took way too long. No calls or emails regarding these simple promises. Left with the car dirty with some type of gunk on the back seat leather after they "detailed" it. Rear paint damage and emblem replacement took a long time too with zero communication. Windshield had to be replaced and the company they used, did not install it correctly. So it started cracking from the top edge. They came back out to see, and you can only imagine that they were not ready to admit they messed up. So, now I still have a foot long crack in a windshield that Ray Skillman could have had our back, the customer, and had them replace it again. Considering we purchased the extra Driver Care package, its windshield repair not windshield replacement. I called over a week ago and had to call Doug Magnusen again just to find out the answer. Once again, bad communication. Ian was great to work with but it was odd dealing with two different salesman. Clay was the initial salesman but then it seemed like we were handed off after we agreed on a price. It looked like Ian had to get the crummy end of the job and deal with all of the promises made and repairs. All in all, no one was rude or unprofessional but I do not recommend this dealership.

2020 Kia Soul GT

What was a simple service appointment turned into Brian Carr helping me get rid of my current car (2017 Kia Forte) that I was absolutely not happy with. After a few hours and working with us and never once getting an attitude I’m so excited to take this car home!

Pleasant experience

Great leasing experience!

I don't normally do a review, but I am very happy to do this review. We dealt with Mark Bobay, Mac Bridges , Doug Magnusen. Working with these 3 Guys made our car leasing experience extremely easy, stress free and you felt like you walked away after just being with friends. Mark was very knowledgeable very helpful with showing us the features on the car. Mac was very knowledgeable and very helpful in helping us figure out which trim level we wanted. Doug understood what we needed to do and wanted to do for Leasing and helped us figure out the best way to get the best options for lease. I cannot think these three gentlemen enough for all their help and understanding and for treating us like friends I look forward to doing more business with these three Gentlemen in the future thanks again Gentlemen we are very happy with our lease and our experience at Ray Skillman Kia Southside

Tommy Reed is the BEST!!!

I just purchased my new 2020 Kia Sportage last night from Tommy Reed at Ray Skillman Kia and it was the easiest purchase I have EVER been through. I test drove three different SUV's and Tommy went over every detail with me and explained all of the many features each one had to offer. When I finally decided on the one to purchase, Doug made the paperwork and financing a smooth process. He explained every paper we signed and answered all of our many questions with such patience. Tommy even entertained my two young children while we were signing the papers. It was late and the dealership had closed, but Tommy and Doug never made us feel rushed at all. Once it was over, Tommy would not allow me to take the vehicle due to him wanting to have all of the fluids and fuses checked just to make double and triple sure my new vehicle was in pristine condition. Due to my work schedule, I was not able to pick it up the next morning, so Tommy had a member of his team hand deliver it to me. If I could give him more than 5 STARS, I absolutely would. A large purchase made easy and it's all because of Tommy Reed! Highly recommend working with him and he has definitely earned a customer for life!
