I bought my car from Braman Honda 4 years ago and have

I bought my car from Braman Honda 4 years ago and have done all my oil changes there ever since. But after my most recent visit, I will never return. I took my car in for a routine oil change. The very next day, my A/C stopped blowing cold air. When I opened the hood, I discovered the A/C low-pressure hose was completely broken (not cracked or worn out), but visibly scratched and damaged from the outside. It looked like something had clearly hit or scraped it. I brought the car back and spoke with Oscar, the service manager. He was dismissive and only listened just enough to give me a canned response. I asked to speak to someone higher up, and he called in Alex Visoso, who walked in already defensive and ready to shut me down without even hearing me out. Their solution? A quote for $804 to replace the hose they damaged with $100 discount. Of course I declined. I took it to a trusted AC only mechanic who said to me that was obvious something hit or scraped the hose from outside (even before I explained to him what I thought what happened). He did the job for $250. Braman Honda has completely lost my trust. Between the damage, the poor customer service, and the outrageous quote, I won’t be going back.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, Yannitt. However, we are a little confused by your review. You stated in your review that your AC stopped cooling the next day after we performed an oil change on your vehicle, yet the oil change was performed on June 6, 2025, RO:558900, and you did not contact our dealer with a concern until 06/12/2025 at 11:30 am. Also, after reviewing your vehicle and pictures of the blown hose, it was apparent that the hose blew from the inside out with no physical damage to the hose. An oil gun used to perform an oil change could not cause that type of damage. We would still like to ensure you and your car receive proper service. Please reach out to our Service Manager, Alejandro Vizoso, at 305-269-3069 ext. 300.
