Although the car was not purchased here, I brought it in

Although the car was not purchased here, I brought it in for a Recall for the sake of convenience. I was very pleased with every contact I made from the telephone people to schedule, the service writer who handled the issue and even the cashier even though there was no charge!

Ray helped me in the service department.

Ray helped me in the service department. He was fast, very communicative and thorough. I felt less stressed about issues with my car because of how attentive Ray was. He kept me updated the whole time too, and notified me ahead of time, so I could be on my way back to get my car and arrive about when it was ready. I appreciated everything Ray did and how he handled everything. I even brought my car in with bird poop on the windshield and noticed it was wiped off when my car was returned! Sometimes it's the small things LOL.

i purchased a pre owned toyota and had 2 visits to the service department for scheduled maintenance. both times were an excellent experience.. everyone is super nice and professional. the fees and work to be done was explained completely, and the work was done fairly quick my service advisor was raymond carrera

I’ve purchased several vehicles from this dealership over

I’ve purchased several vehicles from this dealership over the past 10 years and had mostly good experiences—until now. I recently stopped by to explore upgrading to something larger. While the sales staff was friendly, the person handling financing was incredibly aggressive—like a shark. They offered me an unbelievably low value on my trade-in and clearly tried to take advantage of me. I saw something similar to mine used selling for 20k more on there lot! It was the worst experience I've ever had buying a car. It’s really disappointing, especially since this dealership is the most convenient for me when it comes to service. Unfortunately, after this kind of treatment, I won’t be returning for future purchases.

called and spoke with a BDC assistant by the name of

called and spoke with a BDC assistant by the name of Janet and gave her details about the used vehicle I was very interested in…I also asked some questions regarding the vehicle which were answered and then Janet asked me if she could schedule an appointment…I told her I would be there as soon as possible as it was about a 60 mile one way drive for me and of course traffic pending…I was able to arrive in about 1hour and walked into the dealership and was immediately confronted by a sales representative….I asked for Janet and he told me she is at a different location and then asked me which vehicle I was interested in and then immediately told me that vehicle was already sold????….huge waste of my time not to mention the cost of gas…I then asked for either the gsm or gm and the salesman pointed out a man outside the door whom I spoke with and all he could do was apologize and tell me he would speak with Janet….nothing will change and this xxxxxxxx dealer inconvenience will continue….amazing/miraculous how the vehicle sold RIGHT BEFORE I ARRIVED…I do not and will not recommend Toyota of Costa Mesa to any relative or friend…you bet I’m PISSED OFF!!!

Came in without an appointment, they saw me timely and responded to a request to do more than was originally needed. Ended up with something that felt like new car even though it was care for an oldie. Would recommend.
