This is my experience at Paramount Kia of Hickory on May 27, 2023. I had contacted a salesperson about a used truck for about a week. I informed the salesperson that I would try to come in on Saturday. I called the salesperson and left a message on Saturday, then called the dealership to verify the truck was there ; which it was. I informed the receptionist that I was e route to inspect the truck and my drive time was 1 1/2 hours. I traveled to the dealership and when I arrived was told the truck was on a test drive by another customer who came in 30 minutes after I called. The salesperson told me he did not call me and advise me of this because he didn’t know what the other person would do. While waiting the truck pulled into the lot and the other party came inside. I was very angry at the poor customer service and told the salesperson to call me if it did not sell and left. I later after I texted the salesperson that the truck sold. I feel this was above and beyond the sorriest customer service experience I have ever received. How can I do business in good faith after no common decency by the dealership. So after wasting gas and time it was a completely blown day.

The salesman David Hoover was wonderful. He was very informative and genuine. He was a great person to talk to and get to know and come to find out that he knew my father and my uncles. It made the experience so much better and easier and he did everything he could to help me out and he did because I left with a vehicle which is what I wanted to begin with.

Their very helpful and patient. When I had some kind of reserve when it came to a car they made sure to help get it to my liking. Every car dealership has certain sales tactics, you can tell but it doesn't seem aggressive here. The atmosphere of the dealership is a little weird but most of the people genuinely seem nice.

We just started looking at new vehicles. We stopped at Paramount Kia of Hickory and found the staff to be very courteous and professional. Our salesperson, Jesse Powell, went out of his way to show us several vehicles that might fit our needs. We will certainly return to the dealership when we ultimately decide to purchase a new vehicle.
