Paramount Kia of Hickory

I'd been searching for a Crosstrek for some time and was lucky enough to find a pre-owned one at Paramount Kia in Hickory NC. I'm grateful to Jaq Chambers and David Hoover for the upbeat salesmanship. I came in with less than perfect credit and a used car upside down. Michael showed me a Kia Soul. It was relaxing to sit in and drive. Michael clearly explained each step of the buying process. He gave me an aggressive trade-in value. He got me into a brand new 2019 Kia Soul when I expected to be abruptly shown the door once they saw my credit. I went to Paramount Kia since it was one of the few dealerships that had a Kia Soul Base with manual transmission. I was instantly greeted by Michael with a warm greetings and a handshake. I told him what I was interested in and he instantly found the car and showed me all the features. I was not interested in a test drive (since we went to other dealerships that day as well) and we talked about price. Michael gave me an AMAZING deal and was willing to work with some extra features I needed (most importantly an aftermarket cruise control) that weren't standard. After working out the details, I talked to finance and they were able to work with me with some issues I had with payment. After I bought the vehicle, Michael explained all of the features of the car including the radio, sports/normal drive mode, and other features that weren't on my old Scion xB. The overall experience was a amazing at Paramount Kia and I will definitely be going there for future cars. Michael was extremely nice and awesome about dealing and explaining everything about the car buying experience.

Michael Blackwood was truly God sent. Buying cars has never been an enjoyed experience however Michael turned that around and made this the most pleasant experience with a dealership in my lifetime. Michael was extremely professional and represented Paramount Kia in the highest regard. The whole experience felt of great ease. We located the vehicle we liked and was given in depth detail of its features, then test drove a like car since the one wanted was on the showroom floor. The test drive was detailed out nicely as I drove the mid-size SUV Sorento and I became very comfortable and knowledgeable of its capabilities. Once back to showroom we felt extremely satisfied with the 2019 Sorento after already test driving other competitors. We felt the KIA Sorento had all the bells and whistles rising it above the others we had driven at Subaru, Toyota & Ford. Michael Blackwood went over and above to work the best deal possible for us. We had great confidence in all he had done to show us the product and get it priced so we could drive home with the new 2019 Sorento SX AWD.
