M name is Betty Mckinney I bought a 2025 Kia Soul LX at Parmount Kia in Hickory yesterday April 21st. I went with hopes they could help me. Tim Whitener meet me with a smile.. My wife and I have been looking for a full size truck and wanted a specific look with a slight lift and aftermarket wheels. We had been to dealers across Greensboro as well as the Raleigh area. When looking at used trucks we found that many were being purchased from auction that had come out of Canada, Michigan and Ohio and either had or were going to have issues from salt corrosion. We also dealt with the issue of add-ons when trying to get to the bottom line price. At Paramount we worked with Tanner who is a very polite young man and a pleasure to work with. We drove over two hours to look at the truck they had on the lot and it was sitting out front and ready when we arrived. The truck met what we were looking for and we got to the price we were looking for as well. It ended up being worth the long drive to get the right vehicle and meet the right people. Kate is truly an asset to your team, and I cannot thank her enough for taking my call the night I was informed that my engine had seized. My 2015 Kia Optima had a recall I was unaware of, and without the update, Kia was unable to replace the engine. I was quoted $7,000 for a new one and found myself stranded in a cabin at the top of a mountain. My insurance company advised me to abandon the vehicle and consider it a loss. They also refused to help with a rental car. I was stranded in the mountains with my two children on a trip, feeling overwhelmed and helpless. Kate helped bring light to a very difficult situation. She was so willing to help—not only by assisting me in finding a vehicle but by treating me with integrity and empathy. She even offered to drive an hour and a half to pick me up and bring me back to Hickory just to view potential cars, with zero pressure to buy. She truly listened to what I wanted in a car and understood the price point I needed to stay within.
