"Niiiiice for the Price of Nice"
Found a cheap rabbit online, I had a fair idea of the price I wanted to pay. The negotiation process was typical of car lots, they wanted more than the... actual value of the car. After agreeing on the price I went to my financial institution and they told me the real value of the car. I called and they dropped the price dramatically but still more than the book value. I did not buy the car in the end but would go back there, but next time with significantly more information. If you see a car you like there get the information and do the research, also they add a $399 admin fee and taxes, take those into account when making your offer. If the cars book value is $5000 and you agree on the $5000 then the final price will be near $6000 putting you immediately upside down on the car.
The price posted on the internet listing is not the sale price, the price on the window in the picture is, same thing on their website. They use bait... and switch pricing tactics to lure you in give you the actual price at the dealership.
If you're looking for a VW and want a great experience go to Stevens VW and ask for Jeff Gordon. Jeff knows VW's inside and out. When you deal with him,... he's focused on getting the best car for you, like you're family. As repeat customers, you can be assured that this service doesn't stop with Jeff. Stevens VW Service Department is great too. Never a problem making an appointment day/time that works for me. With the new car, the service tech even took the time to show me some media center features that tied in with my phone. Like I said, put the FUN back in buying a car- see Jeff at Stevens VW.
I contacted these guys about a vehicle I want to purchase and trade in my current vehicle. I’m an out of state buyer and the car I currently want is hard... to find with the options I want. They emailed me saying this “ Right now were overstocked with used vehicles. My boss wants us to wheel and deal. If you would like, I can bring the car to you.“ First of all why would I have them bring me a vehicle that I never even seen in person. Their boss wants to wheel and deal? Take advantage of others. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service.
They claim to have changed the oil in the 2008 Tahoe but the computer said it needed an oil change after 2000 miles. I called dealership and they insisted... they changed the oil but apparently forgot to reset the computer. They were going to send me paperwork to verify the oil change was done but I never received it. A few weeks later the oil pressure dropped to zero. Towed to auto shop and oil had turned to sludge. Power flushed oil system. Two months later it thru a rod.
I got my 2014 jetta s basic nothing fancy, I did the lease option when it was time to buy back from the lease they were suppose to have everything ready... and when i called in August to have this set up and had a meeting to go back to Wichita in September they called to cancel and told me they were still working on the buying processes. Did not hear from them for 3 months, during this time it was racking up money per day. Finally they call us in December we go up there they tell us that this will be easy and we will be driving it home. Nope they kept it even though our bank was going to buy it for 6600 which is what the blue book value was for the car. Now they want me to pay for overage miles, I dont think so not only did you check my credit 3 times but you basically costed me money per day because your sales rep was lazy at HER job!!!! Worse place to get a car I will NEVER give a recommend this place to anyone!! save your money go to someone else.
We came in and looked at one of the few remaining 2017 Passat's they had on inventory. Our salesman Rob was knowledgeable and informative. We know there... are only a couple of these left, but I just was not quite ready to buy that evening. I will bring my wife back to look at the vehicle though as soon as I get my trade running.
The Management at this dealership is about as slimy as it gets. The kind that give car salesman a bad name. They were deceptive and unclear throughout... my conversations with them around their internet pricing and continued to mislead me only to get me into their dealership, a couple hour drive from my home. This dealership reflects their cost in the vehicle as the listed price on third party sites like Autotrader or Cars.com rather then the actual listed price. The manager explained to me that I would have to go to the Dealers website to see the actual list price and that he is not responsible for how third party sites represent their information. This is absurd and misleading. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealer and would stay away. Based on some of the other reviews, it looks like I am not the only one who has experienced problems with this dealership.
The manager of this third-rate dealership is a pathological liar. I recommend you stay far, far away... You'd have better luck buying your next vehicle... on Broadway.
I was looking for a good used car for my wife. I found a real nice looking SUV online listed at at Mike Steven Volkswagen. We went over to look at it,... we was very impressed with the SUV at a fair price. We decided to buy it. The buying experience and the service was the best ever! I would recommend Mike Steven Volkswagen.
