I took my 2012 Jetta in for an oil change and transmission service, car had 153903 miles. Advised the service advisor that I had tires rotated and changed air and cabin filters earlier in the week. I get a call about an hour after dropping off the vehicle from the same service advisor telling me the tech recommends, I have the cabin and air filters changed, along with spark plugs and brake fluid. Since the filters had been changed the day before I questioned if they had even checked them. At that point I told them to do nothing else to the vehicle other than the services I asked for. Felt like I couldn't trust the dealership to be honest and can't be sure they did the services I had asked for. They are the only dealership in town or I would go somewhere else. If I keep the car, will be looking for someone else for service of the vehicle but hard to find someone to work on VW's. I was also quoted a price of 99.95 for the oil change but was charged 113.53. I have been happy with my VW but not with the local dealership. The dealership is called Eddy's VW and not Steven VW now so there may have been an ownership change. I will not be purchasing another VW from Eddy's.

They lie!!!
They made me an offer to buy my used car ( 2 years old bought from them)and then went back on their word, when they found other vehicles they wanted more. Do not trust them, they lie, and don't keep their word.

Service DJ- No Knowedge! No Service Inspection!!!!!
I go to get my oil changed and the service guy without looking at my car tries to add 675.00. And I said wait? You did that last time check! And yes I was right.!!! They used to have who serviced the car say what was wrong! They didn't wash my car and check my alignment!! Because I didn't get my lines flushed! I only have 42,000 miles on my car it doesn't need to be done yearly. I had to take it to another shop and replace ball joints and a front end alingnment! Meinke in Derby, they did a great job. I am not going back to Stevens the old service guy had knowledge. This new guy has none!!! And they try and buy my car!! Not for Sale!!! I went to Jeep dealership til I sold my Jeep. Stevens used to be good a mechanic would come talk to me if he found a problem. They no longer work like that!!! I will never go back again and have the guy who checks me in try and add up the bill when he is not the mechanic. They really went down hill!!! There was no service to check out my car for me!!!

Never again will i buy from Stevens Volkswagen
Whatever you do dont go to Mike Stevens Volkswagen. They will sell you a lemon that will be in the shop 5 times in a month. Keep convincing you to let them try to fix it till the time runs out for you to give it back. Then they're going to put you in a different car sure. But they're put you upside down in it by thousands of dollars then put the paperwork off on it till you owe 1000 dollars in late fees on a car they said they would pay off and handle weeks ago.

Poor Service Dept
Service dept damaged our wheel during the 1k mileage checkup. The GM as well as the service department won’t return our phone calls and are not willing to replace the damaged wheel. We purchased a $60k atlas r-line from Mike Steven less than 2 months ago. Wouldn’t refer this dealership to anyone. Poor customer service.

Upset
The service department is very slow. I can understand the Tech time to check and repair the AC that is under warranty. The Service manager told me that total time would be 1 hour this was not true. The total time was three hours. When we purchased our 2020 Tiguan from Stevens, we were sold an extended warranty Frank Walker told us that that would give us 5 free oil changes. He lied to us. Our car has 30.000 miles on the odometer. We purchased the extended warranty for 100000 miles. Why did I have to pay for the 30000-mile oil change? The charge of $238.00 was way overpriced for no more than what they did. I do not appreciate Stevens Volkswagen not honoring their word. Will I recommend any friends on anyone else to purchase from them NO I do not appreciate their I don't care attitude by their service department. I will never purchase any type of vehicle from them. 2018, 20k miles, MULTIPLE ISSUES
uyer beware‼️ Bought my first vehicle from Mike Steven Volkswagen at Greenwich and Kellogg in January 2022 before my first born, as we were needing a family vehicle. We bought a 2018 Tiguan with 20k miles. As of today, it’s been in the shop 4 times in the last 6 months. 1st time: they sold us the vehicle without servicing it. So shortly after we brought the vehicle home, the oil light came on. We brought it in & they had to change the oil and rotate the tires. 2nd time: the check engine light came on. Brought it in and they had to reset the light. 3rd time: the rubber sealant on the sunroof was warped; so when it would rain, the buttons to open the sunroof would leak water. Now the 4th time: when the vehicle accelerates, it makes a squealing noise. Test drove it with the mechanic (twice), who asked me when I was driving “you mean the air leak?” Like I’m supposed to know what’s wrong. They called me 3.5 hours later, to let me know they had to order a part to diagnose the problem. Come pick it up and they would schedule me to come in AGAIN at a later date. They think it might be a turbo air leak. No accommodations like a oil change voucher, cleaning voucher, nothing. When we told them we had been in 4 times in the last 6 months, all they said was “I’m sorry to hear that.” Safe to say that I completely regret buying a vehicle from this company, THANK GOD we have a warranty, and I’m very worried for what’s going to go wrong next.

What a joke of a dealership
Horrible experience- the sales guy kept trying to tell me the price they list online is the price they owe on it... so they need to make more than the online price. It a scam to get you in the door- then the sales team acts like your an idiot for believing the price on the website is what they are selling it for. Overall feels like a scummy sales team— definitely don’t recommend. After buying the car- a few weeks later all the service lights started coming on—will never use them again. No car is worth the hassle they put you through

The owner of this dealership is an overbearing, nasty, puffed up idiot. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this dealership. I am surprised they have any business with him as owner
