Last Detail Classic Car of N. Chicago/Kenilworth

I brought my 65 T-Bird to The Last Detail to finish some of the restoration. The body was great, much of the rest wasn't. It needed convertible top repair, and lots of other things. For example, after 10-15 hours or so on the top, during two trips, the top still does not lift and return well or consistently. The auto ran poorly, but it only needed simple fixes like a power steering pump, power brake unit, correct leaf springs, and replacement of sticky, old valve lifters. I ended up diagnosing these issues myself and had a local BP finish them (Runs nicely now). For about $6,000 lots of small jobs were done well (doors, heater, interior seat stuffing, etc.), but the top, for example, was not repaired well. The Last Detail sells great classic cars, it just didn't do so well with mine. I was going to return it and decided it was not worth the long trip.

Bought my wifes Mercedes Sl here

I purchased a Mercedes SL500 as an anniversary gift for my wife and dealt with both Brian and Tom (the owner) throughout the sale. The car was as described in their ad and they were super easy to work with. My wife loves the car and we've been going back to have them service it and store the hardtop too. We've had a good experience and would recommend them for both sides. If anything just stop in and see the cool cars they have in the showroom and in back too.
