Working with Ron Landstrom was THE best experience we’ve ever had buying a car. From the very beginning, Ron stood out with his kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine desire to help. He made what can often be a stressful process into something smooth, enjoyable, and even fun. Ron was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to patiently explain everything — not just the car features, but also important details and potential concerns that any buyer might want to consider. He never rushed us and always made sure we felt confident and informed at every step. His transparency and clarity were refreshing. There were no hidden surprises, only honest, straightforward answers and guidance. Ron was always quick to reply, even after hours, and consistently went above and beyond to help us, right up to the very end of the process and even after the sale was complete. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated, professional, and easy to work with. Ron made us feel like more than just customers — he treated us like valued people. Worst car experience I ever had.

Worst car experience I ever had. I live in Boston and they are 250 miles away in NY. I told salesperson Stoja Anderson that I was interested in one of their pre-owned XC90's to replace my wife's aging 2005 XC90, and that before I spent an entire day taking a train from Boston into NYC, and then a 1/2 hour Uber from NYC to their dealership in NJ, to carefully check over the car and let me know of ANY scratches or dents in the car so I could make a decision of whether the trip would be worth it. She sent me 4-5 photos taken at a such an angle that you really couldn't see any imperfections, and all from the outside, again with the assurance that the condition inside and outside was PRISTINE. Based on these assurances, I made the long trip there to pick up the car. Upon spending 4.5 hrs in an Amtrac and 30 min in an Uber, I arrived to find the car with at least 15 scratched, dents and gouges on both the inside of the car as well as the inside. I was furious. To her credit Stoja kept apologizing, which while admirable, didnt alleviate the fact I just spend $250 traveling there to see a car I never would have bought if these clearly visible imperfections was described to me when I inquired. Either she was grossly inept, or dishonest, either not a good trait in dealing with customers making $40,000+ purchases Then the clown show really started when manager Ralph Vigorito came out to get involved. This is the worst part: He REFUSED to accept responsibility for his salesperson's gross misrepresentation, and only tried to cover up it up by rationalizing that its "still pretty good for a used car". I could have dealt with 2 or 3 dents or scratches, but 12-15 was a bridge too far. I asked him to please reimburse me for the cost of my trip down and back to compensate me for his agents misrepresentations, but he scoffed at the concept and said there would be no compensation. His message was clear: "I dont care what costs you incurred based on what my salesperson told you, thats your issue". Wow When I called to ask my wife what I should do, her question was compelling, "if they lied to you about its condition, what else are they lying to you about the car". The test of a dealer's integrity isn't when things go right, its when they go wrong. If they had ANY integrity, a sincere apology should have been forthcoming with compensation for the cost of my travel. There was neither. They are the stereotypical sleazy car dealer. There are many honest sales dealerships out there you can deal with. This is NOT one of them. Stay far away. Its not worth the gamble

In your case, multiple photos of the vehicle were provided ahead of your visit, both in our online listing and directly by our salesperson. Those photos clearly showed the vehicle’s condition, including visible imperfections. We understand that expectations can vary, especially when viewing a vehicle remotely, but to suggest that we deliberately misled you is simply not accurate and does not reflect the facts of the situation . Also, you are buying a pre-owned car, they are not perfect. We understand that interpretation of a vehicle’s condition can vary, especially when evaluating a pre-owned car remotely, and we regret that there was any disconnect between what was presented and what you expected. We also recognize that traveling from out of state is a significant effort, and we regret that the vehicle did not meet your expectations. That said, we made a good-faith effort to disclose the condition of our used vehicle, and our team—including Stoja—remained respectful and apologetic throughout your visit. Our manager, Ralph, did his best to listen to your concerns and offer perspective, even when the conversation became contentious. We stand behind our team and the integrity with which we do business. We understand that you were disappointed, but characterizing us as “sleazy” is unfair, untrue, and not reflective of the thousands of satisfied customers who have trusted us over eight decades. Our family owned dealership has been in business since 1944, and for over 80 years, we’ve built our reputation on honesty, professionalism, and doing right by our customers. We don’t take that lightly. We are absolutely committed to transparency in every interaction, and we do not engage in deceptive sales practices—period. Kundert Volvo is a wonderful dealership! We interacted with sales & finance and they were helpful, professional & as accommodating as possible! Ronnie Landstrom, our salesman was outstanding in every way!! He was pleasant, dilligent & so very patient with us! He went above & beyond and created a phenomenal experience that resulted in the purchase of the perfect car for our needs! His knowledge & preparedness were only exceeded by his attention to detail, gracious kindness & warm sincerity! He is all that a salesman could & should be- truly one of a kind- and we are so thankful for having had him create a uniquely special purchase exoerience!!

The best car buying experience I have ever had.

The best car buying experience I have ever had. I was able to reach out online and someone contacted me within the hour. I was prepared with what my must haves were and what I was looking for. There was only 1 car in their inventory that I was interested in. Ron made it super easy to do business with my crazy work schedule. I completed all the docs through Ron before getting to the dealership. So I only spent about 30 minutes there when closing the deal. They allowed me to pickup the vehicle a couple days later to accommodate my work schedule and were even more accommodating to let me bring my dog. I had a great experience purchasing my previous Volvo at another dealer, but my experience with Ron and Kundert Volvo blows that out of the water. Very efficient and very friendly.

I had almost given up on getting a Volvo after a few

I had almost given up on getting a Volvo after a few disappointing visits to a larger dealership in the area. I was looking specifically to get an electric car and always loved the look of Volvos. We took a chance one day and stopped by Kundert. Right away, we were warmly greeted by Ron and his fellow associates and was able to test drive a car within the half hour, without an appointment! What a refreshing change from our previous interactions with the larger dealership even when we had appointments made. The test drive was great and we decided to order a car with the exact specs we wanted the same day. This would have been a lovely end to the story except that a wrench was thrown into the mix... tariffs. The new tariffs were announced the day after we ordered a car which put all newly produced cars of the model that we wanted to a halt. Ron and the sales director at Kundert kept us in the loop as to what all our options were. Luckily, we found an almost exact car to the one we ordered already being shipped in, but going to a dealership in a different state. Ron and the Kundert team worked tirelessly to get the car for us. Within 10 days, we had our car! The process of getting our EX40 was definitely an adventure, but we could not have done with without Ron and his team. Bravo Kundert and thanks for everything!
