!!HORRIBLE CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE!! I've sold cars for 20 years working with both franchise and independent dealers. *** Do not buy the $1000 windshield protection add on from Groove. Subaru wants you to believe that because of the eyesight package you will need the $1000 OEM windshield OR the sensors may not work. Absolutely not true. I have replaced 100's of subaru windshields with the eyesight package with local companies for $150 -$200. Never had an issue. ***** A close friend of mine is good friends with the last general manager who spoke with the current GM to give me the "friends and family discount". I hoped this would circumvent the normal B.S dealerships try to pull and get me in and out easy. This was not the case. 1. The finance manager Mai Sheath will lie to you and try to steal your money. And no, this is not an issue of her accent or a misunderstanding. Before going to finance, management gave me a buyers order showing the cost breakdown. I specifically asked to make sure taxes are correct and I do not want any extras and I signed agreeing to the buyers order price. Mai tells me that because I'm in the business and I'm friends with the general manager, that she's gonna hook me up with free window tint and clear bra. She explains that she has some credits built up and again because I was a "friend" she was hooking me up for free. I even told her it had tint already and she says something like" if it's already tinted, they just won't do it and it doesn't matter because it didn't cost me anything anyway." Her proof of me not being charged extra was the paperwork shows the same out the door cost as the buyers order I signed before going to finance. She is a thief. Finally found out that my taxes that management showed an extra $1250 in taxes. Guess how much I was charged for clear bra and tint? $1250. This is a scam that management approves of and helps them make money on the backend (warranty, tint, wheels windshield and other worthlessprotections.) This is why my taxes were shown so high from management before going to finance. 2. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle. I do not believe this got it's certified inspection . -I am unable to get the actual certified inspection list for my vehicle. -The oil pan had a leak and was caked in OLD OIL, see photo. You can tell it is old and there is no way that would have passed a certified pre-owned inspection without being cleaned and checked. Turns out it had a bad oil sensor. Although they replaced it, they charged subaru warranty. ( i do not care who fixed it as long as I wasn't charged. But I don't think subaru wants to pay warranty work on old issues that the dealership should have paid for. Scamming their own company.) -passenger side seatbelt height adjustment is broken and cannot be raised or lowered. This should be 100% working as a certified pre-owned vehicle. - struts are very loud when driving over cracks. - took about 2 months to get the spare key the car should have had in the first place, since it's a certified pre-owned. 3. The salesman was worthless. Acted like management didn't like the salesman and made it hard for them to get info and do their jobs. It was weird. Had to go over him for everything because he either didn't know or couldn't get an answer. 4. Communication from management is just pathetic. Because of issues with the finance manager, salesman not knowing anything and the issues witht the car, I've talked to every manager there. Not a single one would follow up when promised, NONE! It was always on me to follow up and i would always have to explain again to different manager. This review was done on a phone and in a rush, so sorry for bad grammar. I purchased this vehicle about 2 months ago and haven't had time to leave a review. I wanted to get something said before too much time went by. I will edit this review to clean it up and for better clarity and info when I have time.

Disappointed
When I hesitated to buy a used car, a salesperson told me that they would give me a full refund if I changed my mind within 4 days. His words encouraged me to enter a deal. I paid some money before I saw the car. The next day I canceled the whole contract, because of some reason. I expected a full refund, but they would refund my money except for the dealer handling fee($599). I am really disappointed and I feel cheated. They should have clearly said full refund except for the fee, before proceeding.

I recommend Esteban at Groove Subaru
I was fortunate to work with Esteban at Groove Subaru. My car was purchased with a simple phone call and Esteban kept me updated about the car's delivery. It arrived exactly as promised. He was very helpful and patient in showing me the features of my Forester. (My previous car did not have all of the new technology so I am sure I was not as quick to catch on as other customers.) My only regret is that I didn't purchase the Forester before the shortage of cars because with the car shortage Groove charges $2000 above MSRP in addition to their $599 "administration fee."

Bad car dealership
Very bad dealership. They put the shade in shady car sales. Do not buy from them. I had damage to the car that I didn’t see and brought it to a body shop and they showed me all the problems. Groove denied, denied, denied. Be careful!

Great service, and super nice loaner!
I needed a major repair on my Cross Trek, and Rachide made is super easy! My car was towed in, and he sent a Lyft so I could come get a loaner. It just couldn't have been any easier. The last time I had a major service was no different. Haley treated me just as well, and had me out the door quickly. Tom and the guys brought out my ride looking cleaner than its been in months!

Poor experience
They had not inspected or prepped my car. I flew in and it was late in the day. I did not see the hail damage on what was supposed to be a certified car. Very rude when I contacted them on it.

Terrible service extreme dishonesty
Purchased a vehicle under the assumption that it included a remote start as detailed on cars.com. Did not use it at the dealership as there was no need. Arrived home after the purchase was made to discover remote start was not included. The dealer denied any responsibility and attempted to defer blame to cars.com. Buyer beware of lies and shady deals.
